Cooking as a family, reading books & playing cards in the screened porch, and playing at the secluded beach with our dog was our highlights. Oh, and the kids enjoyed walking out for ice cream. Hosts, Xavier and Julie were gracious and quick to respond to communications.

A wonderful stay! We’ll definitely be back!My wife, our pup, and I had an amazing stay. The house was lovely, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was exactly as advertised, right down to the last detail.The hosts were fantastic, and I can’t say enough good things about Xavier. Communication was quick and seamless, and the few issues that came up were resolved immediately. We also really appreciated the app and website they provided, with helpful instructions for accessing and using things around the property, along with recommendations for local restaurants, bars, attractions, and beaches.The location was perfect for our trip to enjoy birding during the fall raptor migration. We were about 15 minutes from the hawk watch platform, less than an hour from Avalon, and just over an hour from Edwin Forsyth National Wildlife Refuge. It was a great base for exploring the area and a wonderfully comfortable place to return to afterward.This was probably our fifth stay in Villas and our third VRBO rental, and this property is absolutely one of our favorites. We would happily stay here again and definitely plan to return!

We were so happy to find this charming, cozy home that allowed us to bring our two doggies. The listing was for one pet, but the hosts were kind enough to make an exception for us, and we were so grateful.This little Labor Day getaway was really about giving our two shy city pups a chance to get away, run around, and just be dogs. They absolutely loved the fenced in yard. I could literally see my girls smiling as they ran and played fetch, and honestly, seeing how happy and free they were made the whole trip worth it 🥰The house was super charming and very clean, and you could tell the hosts really put thought into all the little details. The master bedroom was very spacious with a huge, incredibly comfortable bed The location was also great, just 15 to 20 minutes from some of the prettiest beaches.The only thing that would have made it even better would be some lights in the backyard, since it got a little hard to see in the evening.We really enjoyed our stay and are so glad we found this little gem. We would definitely come back

This property was clean and cozy. The sunroom was a plus to drop off shoes and beach gear to keep separate from the living space. Our kids LOVED the bunk beds! This property provided everything we needed, and we made wonderful memories there!

Host is top notch!

Had a great time staying at Casa Del Mar. My wife and I decided to take a last minute trip with the family to Cape May for 3 days. Casa Del Mar was the perfect choice, especially since we had a dog. Only a 12 minute drive to Cape May, it was close enough to make our visit awesome. Host was top notch with communication and accommodating. Highly recommend this place!

We will most definitely return! The hosts of this listing are so accommodating and friendly. They genuinely care about their guests and go the extra mile to make the stay perfect. The house was in a quiet neighborhood perfect for a weekend getaway and close to so many nice restaurants. Perfect distance from main areas of cape may and wildwood. This house was perfect for a weekend trip! It is close to Cape May and has many restaurants and places nearby for convenience. The backyard is fenced in and big and the house is just the right size. The owner, Xavier, is very responsive and provides a lot of information regarding the house, and the surrounding area. We found it very helpful and tried a few new places that were great! Holiday Visit

We were in town from Louisiana visiting my parents and found that we needed more room for all visitors staying at my parents’ house. This property was within walking distance to mom and dad and seemed perfect I reached out to Xavier and he was extremely responsive and helpful booking a same day reservation and even messaged a few hours later to say the property was ready for early check-in! The property was very clean, had everything we needed (including phone chargers in the two bedrooms!), and Xavier messaged a few times during our stay to ensure all was okay. This will definitely be my go-to property to check availability the next time we are in town.

Family Vacation

My family and I decided to celebrate Spring Break with a quick trip to Cape May. I'm so happy that we decided to stay at Casa Del Mar! We felt at home as soon as we arrived. From a welcome note/snack basket (which my pre-teen son devoured haha) to items for my dog, the owners took the time to add all the "extras" to make our stay so enjoyable. In addition to all of the extras, we were also able to have an early check-in and late check-out, which was wonderful. The house was very clean and exactly as advertised. It was so enjoyable to sit in the sunroom and read while having my morning coffee. The location of the house was convenient to everything that we wanted to do. I also felt very safe taking my dog for walks through the neighborhood and surrounding area. Xavier is an amazing host and his communication was fantastic. I would highly recommend renting from him and his family.

Home Away From Home

Casa Del Mar is a beautiful, cozy beach house. The property was clean and the decor fitting! Conveniently located to many local attractions and a five minute drive to the beach! Xavier is truly “super hosts” and we will definitely be back!
