Holiday fortress in Ketghe - your holiday home at the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Middle Rhine
not far from Koblenz

The holiday home "Fortress to Ketghe" impresses with its central location - in a few minutes you reach the BUGA city Koblenz.

Your house is located in the old center of the community Kettig with historical reference to the former fortress. Today, the restored church of Kettig is located here. 

You live close to the Rhine and meet many tourist attractions in the immediate vicinity z. B. a very well-developed network of cycle paths, the geyser in Andernach, the volcano park, the Laacher See and many castles and palaces.

The many attractions of the cities of Cologne, Bonn, Trier, Mainz can be reached in a short time.
The BUGA city Koblenz with the very beautiful old town, the Rhine and Mosel promenades for strolling, the fortress Ehrenbreitstein, the city beach and many other interesting sights is only 10 minutes away.     Koblenz can also be easily reached by public transport. The bus stop is just 5 minutes walk from the house.

As an active vacationer you have direct access to the Streuobstwiesenweg, the Rheinburgenweg, the Rheinsteig, to Traumpfaden and many other hiking areas in the Eifel, Hunrück, Westerwald and Taunus.
A new attraction will certainly be the newly opened National Park Hunsrück-Hochwald.

As a pilgrim you cross the Way of St. James in the direction of Trier and on to France. 

Your house has been renovated in 2014 elaborately. Here you will find original wooden floors of the over 150-year-old building, paired with contemporary high-quality equipment.

The house offers its guests cozy rooms (WoZi, kitchen, bathroom, 3 rooms upstairs for the family) and a newly landscaped garden area with seating. 

By booking a rental agreement with the landlord on arrival is closed.

In Kettig meet domestic enterprises with numerous offers for body and soul at (z. B. Net market, bakeries, butcher, inn, magazines, gifts, fitness and wellness) as well as medical assistance in the resort.
Germany's biggest retail park in Mülheim-Kärlich is only 5 minutes away by car.
The "The Style Outlets" center in Montabaur, close to the ICE train station, can be reached in just over 30 minutes.
