About this property

Located near the mouth of American Fork Canyon

Why waste time? Stay close to American Fork Canyon with awesome rock climbing, hiking and mountain biking just 5 minutes away. Visiting family? Why bunk with your nephew when you can rent your own place and escape the drama! The bunk room used to be two bedrooms and the living space is generous, so even if you have a few people you are not crowded. This unit is the entire upstairs with no shared spaces. A quiet family lives downstairs and just had a baby so please plan to respect the quiet hours between 10 PM and 6 AM. The mountain views from the back yard are fantastic, and the location is perfect if you need to be close to Alpine, Highland or Cedar Hills.

We had a great stay! The house made for a comfy base camp for 4 adults and a dog, and the fenced in back yard was great for sitting outside in the sun while the pup stretched her legs.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cute house. We are a family of 6 including a wheelchair and it is extremely difficult to find a vacation house in the valley that is accessible and big enough. The ramps and shower bars were amazing and we were so grateful the owners had these extra features. One thing to note, if you’re a wheelchair user traveling alone, the lever to convert the shower head to the shower wand is really high and wouldn’t be reachable from a chair. Also, there is no shower chair so you’d need to bring your own. Otherwise the house was very maneuverable for my husband in a wheelchair. The house was cute and had plenty of space for our whole family. The king bed was great and the bunk bed room had plenty of beds. Everything was decorated really cute and was in pretty good shape. There were games and books, which my kids loved. The kitchen was well stocked and there were tons of towels and linens, which was awesome. The bathroom had lots of hooks for towels, which is always a plus when you have a big group it also had lots of storage space under the sinks and in the cabinets, so helpful. This rental allows pets and there was some dog hair, which we didn’t love, but it wasn’t anything extreme, just maybe needed an extra run with the vacuum. We also had trouble getting in at first but if you pull the door towards you when putting in the code it works perfectly. Would definitely stay again and we’re so grateful for ramps and grab bars!

This was our second stay in this house. The backyard is big, great for kids or dogs. The view from the kitchen window is beautiful. Management responded in less than 5 minutes when I had a question. The kitchen is large and appliances were in good shape. We will stay at this vrbo next time we are in town.

This is what you rent when you want to be close to family...

... and want to have personal space.It's a great house, very conveniently located next to the highway and close to my family. It's clean and we had no problems with anything.

Hiking getaway

I had an amazing stay here. I spent several days hiking different trails along the Alpine loop, and I appreciated how close it was. The large, enclosed backyard was also wonderful for my dog.

Traveling to Utah

The house was beautiful and everything was well appointed. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels and toilet paper for our party of 6 adults. I would highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through Salt Lake City.

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed the opportunity to stay at this property. It was perfectly situated for everything we wanted to do and just outside the hustle and bustle of the city. We got to see deer in the back yard, take a quick drive up the canyon and spend quality time together as family. The house was set up very well and met all our needs.

Just what we needed

We enjoyed our stay at this was a great little vacation rental! It had everything we needed for our vacation. I especially loved that I could have all the kids in one room. While there were a few hiccups with checking in, our host was quick to resolve the issues. We would stay here again!

Great place!

We booked the property for 3 nights but needed to extend our stay. The host was very accommodating and gracious. The home is very clean, comfortable and well kept. It was well supplied with everything we need for our stay. The fenced back yard was perfect for our dog. She loved exploring. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again.

Perfect Location

It was great and had everything we needed. Comfortable and cozy. It's close to shopping, main roads, and plenty of great Utah things to do, even if you never make it to SLC, including Thanksgiving Point, American Fork Canyon, Traverse Mountain Outlets, etc.

Nice home away from home

We stayed here for a 7 nights. We really enjoyed our time here as it was close to everything we need/wanted to do. Great location, sufficient amount of space, nice yard, clean house, nice neighbors below. The only thing I'd suggest is to provide steak knives and paper towels.

Beautiful Stay

We took our Phoenix, AZ family on a family vacation up to see some real snow in Utah and we were not disappointed. The house was just as described and the view out the back door was breath taking. The kids loved playing in the snow in the large front yard. The location was great for accessing the other location we intended on visiting on our stay.
