Highlights

You will absolutely love this jewel-box cottage, Talley Ho! This 3-bedroom home is located in desirable Morgantown, so you'll have access to two neighborhood pools, a kiddie pool and two lighted tennis courts. In addition, there are several beach access boardwalks, including one just a few houses away.

The Space

This recently remodeled home features granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances as well as solid surface flooring throughout. The owners have done an exceptional job of making the home beautiful but also inviting and comfortable.

The primary bedroom sports a king-sized bed and private bath complete with double vanity, shower and jetted tub. A second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and uses a hall bath. The third bedroom has a twin over full bunk and private bath. Tally Ho very comfortably sleeps 7 guests.

Fort Morgan and Morgantown

Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown.

Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.

Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.

Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.

Perfect Vacation Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I loved everything about the Home. There was plenty of space for everyone. I have a family of 5 that stayed there plus my mother in law and my daughter's friend. 7 people total and everyone had plenty of space. The Home was beautiful and perfect location for a beach vacation. Short walk to the beach and a short drive to stores nearby. I'd definitely consider this Home again on another GulfShores vacation. Property Management was awesome, quick to answer any questions. Very friendly, even came and met us the 1st morning. One of the best Management I've dealt with.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Talley Ho has everything you'd want in a beach house. Great location in an attractive neighborhood of Morgantown. The beach sand is soft, not hard-packed. We stayed the month of February, so we still needed some winter clothes. Enjoyed golf at Peninsula and Gulf Links. Be sure to visit the charming town of Fair Hope on Mobile Bay. Our favorite breakfast restaurant in Gulf Shores is 'The Ugly Diner.' Royal Red Shrimp and Fried Crab Claws are a special treat!
