Exciting past and beautiful present "Villa Elizabeta ****
NIN, a city is looking for its like ...
Nin's beaches are a hallmark and an unforgettable picture that everyone who has been here at least once will remember forever. It is therefore not surprising that many visitors describe these beaches as the most beautiful in Croatia or even in the world.
The beaches are 8000m long. The longest and best known is the 3km long sandy beach 'Königinsstrand' about which a legend exists. Thanks to the oral tradition, it is known that the wife of the first Croatian king Tomislav loved this beach and found its beauty attractive. Every time the royal family officially visited Nin, they spent wonderful and relaxing moments on this beach. The beach was named after King Tomislav's wife and nowadays countless families with small children who love the shallow beach enjoy it. Interestingly, on the way to the beach you have to walk 10m through shallow water. The most famous and healing sea mud locality in Croatia can be found in its immediate vicinity.
According to the American 'Travel Channel', this beach is one of the top beaches in the world.
Other beaches such as 'Ždrijac', 'Prodorica', 'Bilotinjak', and 'Zaton Holiday Resort' are also very attractive. The latter beach, located in the 'Zaton Holiday Resort' complex, has been awarded the blue flag, which is an international recognition of quality and service. The beach is surrounded by amusement parks for children, swimming pools and slides as well as countless restaurants.
Nin's shallow beaches are particularly attractive for families with children thanks to the warm sea. Winds in this bay are ideal for windsurfing and hang gliding.
The city of Nin and its tourist offer are recognized not only by Croatian and international organizations, but also by tourism professionals, business partners and tourists. These awards are a true recognition and an important further motivation for the city, its residents, as well as for all who promote Nin's tourist offers.

Nin's beaches: Scenes and pleasure to be remembered
Nin's beaches are one of its trademarks and an impressive scene remembered by all those who have been here, at least once. It is not surprising that many rate them as among the most beautiful in Croatia, if not in the world.
Nin's beaches total a staggering 8,000 metres in length. The longest and most famous among them is a three-kilometre long beach to which a legend is connected. Tradition has it that the wife of the first Croatian king, Tomislav, was especially attracted by its beauty, and the Royal Family, whenever they officially came to Nin would visit this beach to enjoy a few rare and relaxing moments there. Hence the name Queen's Beach because of its extremely long shallow beach and beauty, families with small children even today take delight. What is interesting is that you should pass over a ten metre long shallow stretch of water in order to reach it. In its vicinity there is the largest known location of medicinal mud in Croatia.
According to the choice of the American Travel Channel, the Queen's Beach is at the top of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
The other Nin beaches such as Ždrijac, Prodorica, Bilotnjak as well as Zaton Holiday Resort are also attractive. The last one, which is located in the tourist settlement Zaton Holiday Resort, has a blue flag as an internationally recognised sign for quality and facilities. The beach is surrounded by children's theme parks, swimming pools and water slides with many restaurants and cafes.
