Not worth the money

Looks beautiful in the pictures, however not worth the money for what you are getting. Let’s begin with the cleanliness. Wet dirty towels in the washing machine, floors and counter tops were dusty and dirty. The hot tub was not working, the pool heater did not work, the AC wasn’t letting out cool air. The host had us check-in 2 hours later than expected by promising us a whole day on our last day there but then on the morning of checkout told us we no longer could stay the entire day, making false promises. Would not recommend for the money.

PLEASE STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DUMP!!!

If I could rate this property 0 I would. We had initially booked a cottage for the holiday weekend but decided that this property would be a cool spot to stay with 2 other couples and their kids. The large "beautiful" pool in the photos was what sold us on booking this place. Upon arrival to this property there was something eerie about the place. As our friends got there first, we opened the door to find looks of disgust on everyone's faces. The place was filthy! There were fingerprints everywhere, the floor was sticky, hairs on the toilet seats, missing door handles, dishwasher full of dirty dishes and numerous other issues. The was not the worst part though as we walked outside to the pool. The pool looked like it had not been maintained in years, full of slime, dirt and human feces. As we walked around the corner we found a storage room that had a pungent odor. Upon opening the door we found about 10 garbage bags that were sitting there and had been rummaged through by animals. We immediately decided we had to leave and called the owner to get a refund. The owner was extremely aggressive and to my friend and said "I will not be spoken down to by a woman". He then proceeded to block our calls and that's when we called VRBO. About an hour later the owner showed up drunk and was extremely aggressive to the women while we had 3 kids present. We had asked for him to work out the refund while he was there but he took off. We did not feel safe at the property, so we decided to leave about 2 hrs after we had arrived. We were on the phone with VRBO until 3am and still do not have resolution as the owner has to approve the refund. He has proceeded to text and call me for the next 3 days making up lies and saying that we stole things from his house. Please do yourself a favor and do not even look twice at this listing. I do not want anyone to experience the horrible time we had when all we wanted to do was have a nice weekend away with friends.
