Welcome to your dream vacation at Lake Tahoe! Thank you for choosing my Lakeview Lodge, a stunning 6-bedroom lakefront retreat nestled among whispering pines and vibrant blooms. From the moment you arrive, every indoor and outdoor space invites you to unwind in comfort.

Step into a lush flower garden with window boxes overflowing with petunias, where a tranquil sitting area with fairy lights awaits at dusk. Inside, sunlight streams through picture windows, illuminating a cozy living room with thoughtful furnishings—perfect for quiet reflection or laughter-filled evenings by the fireplace with three reclining couches, each with cell phone ports.

The gourmet kitchen is a chefs delight, featuring numerous small appliances, two ovens, and a spacious island ideal for big breakfasts. Enjoy multiple ways to brew your coffee, including Keurig pods in various flavors, teas, hot chocolate, and sugar. Five bedrooms offer queen beds with ceiling fans for cool nights, while the renovated downstairs bathroom accommodates all with a stool and adjustable hand-held shower head. The upstairs master suite pampers with a king-size bed, 180-degree lake views, a private deck, work station with printer, and a luxurious shower with multiple heads plus a soaker tub with a fireplace at your feet and a lakeview.

OUTSIDE, relax in the hot tub with breathtaking lake views or stargaze at night. Two picnic tables with umbrellas set the stage for gourmet meals from the propane BBQ (included), while comfortable seating areas offer personal space or group gatherings. Enjoy outdoor games like corn hole, croquet, badminton, and ladder ball, or head to the beach with its volleyball court. Paddle the lake on provided kayaks or paddleboards with life jackets from the shed. Roast marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit and enjoy some s'mores, ingredients provided, under the stars.

At day’s end, retreat to your themed bedroom sanctuary and the gentle hush of the lake lull you to sleep, promising another magical day at Tahoe. I love welcoming families—highchairs, pack n’ play, stroller, beach toys, and a plastic pool are provided to ease your travels.

WINTER TIME is seamless with our own plow ensuring access to the slopes when they open. Sleds are available for play, and the garage stores skis—please remove boots in the entry to protect the Brazilian hardwood floors. Check the community board for prior travelers’ notes on local spots and restaurants, and let the kids add their pictures.

Bring your boat and use my buoy anchored in front. I’ve provided beach chairs, towels, coolers, umbrellas, and kids’ beach toys—leave the extra luggage behind! I look forward to welcoming you to my home. Safe travels from your host, Barrett.

Great location great amenities

Very nice property, with lots of things to do with all the pieces needed. Paddle boards, kayaks, fire pit. Quiet street close to all amenities.

Wonderful

I booked this as a family getaway to celebrate my dad's 92 birthday. The location is unbeatable and the views fantastic. It was wonderful to wake up to the beautiful lake views every morning. The house was very comfortable, and we felt like home but better. Our host was helpful and responsive. Would defintely stay here again. Thank you!!

Great property with a great view of the lake. Getting the lake from the house was easy.

I had a great experiences renting this property. Barrett was super attentive from the time we booked to the in between time of us having concern about the weather. We definitely plan on renting this house again.

Perfect for Family Vacation

This was our third year in this lovely home. It is situated adjacent to a small park with a beach access. Corn hole set, kayaks and paddle boards are included, in addition to a hot tub. Fun for all ages.

Property was perfect for our family of 12 for a long weekend stay. We found everything as presented and could not have been more pleased with the location and corresponding lake view. The spa was a big plus for everyone. Definitely recommend to others and will stay again in the future if available

MEMORIAL DAY AT LAKE TAHOE

The Family wanted to have a get together at Lake Tahoe for Memorial Day and this home was perfect for four generations gathering. The house was spacious, functional and inviting. The Lake views were wonderful beyond words. The nearby park was great for morning and evening walks. It had Great Lake access, Property Owner was very accommodating. Family wanted to stay longer and hopes to return, but next time later in the summer when it is warmer.

Incredible Location and Views

We had a group of 13 staying at the house for a getaway weekend. Everything was perfect, the host was super responsive and flexible. The location was excellent as well. 10 minutes to Stateline area with Casinos and the Gondola for Skiing. The Hot-tub was fantastic to relax in after a day out. They have a really cute board in the house as well where past guests post things to do in the area, really helpful. Beds were comfy and kitchen was really well stocked. We’d stay here again for sure.

Great for everyone

This was an adult family ski trip with different personalities and needs. The house accommodated all very nicely and was thoughtful in its amenities. Beds comfy and all rooms comparable so nobody felt they got a less than worthy room than the others. The master suite is incredible. The view to die for. Communication was easy with owner/manager. Would rent again.

Home away from Home

We stayed 5 days with our family in South Lake Tahoe. Absolutely breathtaking views, beautiful neighborhood, adventures all around, and restaurants just a few minutes away! The home has every item you need to feel right at home. We spent most of our time outside just steps from the lake, kayaking, bike rides, driving through different towns around the lake, playing games, hot tub, fishing with Captain Mike, and spending much needed family time together. We will definitely be back!

Family comfort

It was so nice to have 6 bedrooms. Everyone got a real bed. The little ones shared bedrooms next to their parents. There was enough space for our family to have both private time and family time. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas. When a smoke alarm started beeping, the helper, who lives across the street, came over immediately. The location by the lake is not to be beaten. The responsiveness of the owner and helper was quick and reassuring. Highly recommend.

Christmas Vacation

The house is perfectly equipped for entertainment. There was a plethora of board games, cards, and even foosball and pool! We were never bored, every person was always occupied with an activity in the house. The location was more than ideal. We could walk to the beach, or take a short ride to the casinos, shopping and skiing. The backyard was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beautiful view of Lake Tahoe with mountains in the background. The highlight of the week was sitting in the hot tub with this breathtaking scenery. The rooms were comfortable, clean, had plenty of pillows and blankets! The primary bedroom had a wonderful bathroom, with a huge bathtub! The house was fully stocked with everything we needed for a great stay; coffee, laundry detergent, towels, and more. Everything was well labeled so we always knew what light switch we were using or what thermostat we were adjusting. Our family truly enjoyed our stay here!

Incredible

This home is amazing, location is great, layout is great and the host is great. The home has everything you need plus some. The host went above and beyond to make our trip great. When the hot tub wasn't working due to frozen pipes she sent the maintenance guy over late at night and fixed the issue immediately. The most amazing thing, we were here for the three-day weekend and a severe storm hit, and the roads were closed. She texts us at 7:30am in the morning and said not to drive home, it was too dangerous, and she would give us the house for another night free of charge. Talk about hospitality. Truly an amazing property we cannot wait to come back.

Tahoe with the Wow!

This is a stunning lakeside property with a huge Wow factor! From the welcoming entry way, to the well-appointed kitchen, the beautiful updated bathrooms, and attention to detail in each of the six bedrooms, this is the perfect spot for large families or several couples. We loved that each bedroom had a queen sized bed (king for the master), and the mattresses were super comfortable. There was plenty of seating at the table for meals, and the living room for playing games and hanging out. The open view to the lake with the snow capped mountains on the north shore were spectacular from the dining room, living room, and master bedroom. The convenience to South Lake Tahoe was something we were looking for, but even during the busiest week of the season, we still felt such serenity. We hope to get back to Tahoe for a summer excursion, and hope this property will be available when we do.

Amazing location & host

The location and amenities offered in this large lodge like home supports a fantastic Lake Tahoe adventure. It is a quick drive to all the best hiking! If you enjoy a cold adult beverage Lake Tahoe Aleworx has a great patio, music and vast selection of beer! The home has a massive master bedroom with the best view of the lake and a cozy fireplace. You will find that the host took the time to label all the drawers and doors in the kitchen to make it easy to find what you need. When we requested a set of binoculars, she quickly accommodated. Having the hot tub and SUP’s just added to the relaxation and water adventure. Check out the pics in the rooms..I am sure one of them was Barrett (host) skiing down a hill! Btw she was a previous ski instructor!!! Enjoy the location and outdoors it’s wonderful. Now back to Florida!

The house was a great size for our group of 12 plus 2 babies, but had some problems.

All the bedrooms were just fine. Torn sheets on one of the beds. Had to clean out hair and debris from the dresser drawers. Kitchen trash can was filthy and also the compartment it was in. Jacuzzi DID NOT work the entire week we were there! Had to ask for propane for the bbq. One of the kayaks had a leak in it, so that is dangerous. Photo number 2 looks like you are on the beach. You are actually looking at a parking lot for a small park directly behind the house. We were blamed for a broken kayak paddle that was in the house when we arrived. We left the house clean and tidy with everything put back in outdoor shed. We feel like we should have been compensated for Jacuzzi that did not work the entire time we were there. We still had a good time in the grass in the backyard and eating outside every night on the patio tables. Just a warning to other people looking at house, the pictures are not quite accurate as far as being on the beach or having the beach right below the backyard.

This house was the perfect way to experience Lake Tahoe! Very well equipped house with a truly amazing view. Right in town, but right on the lake. The owner was very responsive and helpful. My family would 100% rebook if we ever return to Tahoe!

South Shote Snow Activities

Fantastic place to day with stunning views of Lake Tahoe. Was a lovely touch having some simple provisions provided making our late arrival that bit more comfortable. House has discrete small labels/signs to make finding items and using facilities so easy. Host checked in with hire the stay had gone as well as clear and prompt correspondence prior to our arrival. House enhanced a fantastic trip to South Lake Travis - just wished we could have stayed longer.

SuperBowl Weekend

We found Barrett's home last year & knew it was the perfect home to return to for our annual Super Bowl weekend trip , we have been doing this trip for over 25 years. The home is clean, & large enough for a big group but cozy. The views of the lake are outstanding , the location can't be beat, walking distance to coffee, restaurants, bars, & walking paths along the lake. The casinos are a short drive, as is Heavenly ski resort. The kitchen is well equipped, there are board games & an ottoman full of blankets & a fireplace for chilly nights We had 1 issue & Barrett was there first thing in the morning to address it, she is friendly & acccomdating & cares about the guest experience, her assistant Jonathan lives nearby & is available if anything is needed. each bedroom is comfortable & clean. We appreciate the owners attention to detail & will be returning next year!

Family Vacation

We have stayed here every summer for several years. We love the home and the view of the lake. There is a small park behind the home that is right on the water. Kayaks and paddle boards are provided. The owner, Barrett, is very easy to contact if needed. She is kind and has suggestions for our family. We will be back in 2025.

Wonderful Stay

Our stay was fantastic. The house is very nice and very comfortable. From a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great towels, spa towels, to a welcome coffee bar AND a s’more basket everything is there. The outside is spectacular with wonderful seating that overlooks the lake and lots of space to spread out on the lawn or in the hot tub. Reagan Beach is steps away and has nice walking area and even more space to play or swim. The hostess, Barrett, is a wonderful! We thank her for all she did to make our stay beyond fantastic.

Hi, This home has been in the family for many years. We originally came from Switzerland. My family and my 3 sons always enjoyed the beach right out the back door. Down at Reagan Beach you will find a volleyball court, kids playground, large grassy field and sandy beach depending upon water level. Master bedroom was also completely redesigned with a massive shower and many relaxing spray heads.
I strive to offer you a house that is very clean and comfortable. I try to provide you with everything you will need for a comfortable relaxing vacation.

Why they chose this property

The Al Tahoe neighborhood is centrally located in South Lake Tahoe. You have Regan Beach out your back door and the newly remodeled El Dorado Beach just down the road, now called "The Commons", home to the free summer concert series. This is also the place where you can launch your boat to put on my anchored buoy (water depth dependent) Here you can rent wave runners, bikes, scooters and carriages.
Many local hotspot restaurants are located on Harrison Ave at the end of Lakeview Ave. The casino's and Heavenly are about a 10 minute drive.

What makes this property unique

You will love this location! The views of the lake through the picture windows is amazing, along with the sunsets over Mt. Tallac. It's also a great place to view the fireworks on July 4th. Hidden Beach is the locals neighborhood beach. You can find it at the end of Lilly by heading west on Lakeview Ave towards the end you turn left on Belleview Ave and then right on Lilly, from there you have to walk through the meadow to the beach.
El Dorado Beach (Lakeview Commons Beach) is just down the street which is home to the free summer concert series.
Every Thursday starting in June until Sept from 4-8:30pm a different band will perform on a temporary stage that will be built in the sand. Spectators can sit – for free – on the terraced area or up top where there are picnic tables. Beer garden, food vendors and local artists. My home will be decorated for Christmas with a tree and many other holiday decorations. I want my guests to feel like they are home for the holiday. In the Swiss tradition, chocolates will be the ornaments.
