The Space:
Enjoy a peaceful stay in this magnificent, completely renovated apartment, ideally located in the heart of the Marais! Perfectly furnished, it can accommodate up to four travelers.
The apartment includes:
• A bright and welcoming living room: has a double sofa bed with a real mattress for two people (140 × 200 cm), storage space, a Smart TV and unlimited Wi-Fi access.
• One bedroom: equipped with a queen-size bed (160 × 200 cm) with new and extremely comfortable bedding, ceiling fan and built-in storage.
• A bathroom: includes a modern shower and toilet, as well as a hairdryer, soap, washing machine and shampoo.
Sheets, blankets, pillows and towels are provided for the duration of your stay.
• A fully equipped open kitchen: microwave, oven, hob, dishwasher, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine, kitchen utensils, crockery and cutlery.

The Neighborhood:
You will be staying in the vibrant heart of the Marais, one of the most emblematic and historic districts of Paris, perfect for discovering the city on foot between cafes, shops and monuments. A few minutes' walk away, you can enjoy an excellent coffee at Boot Café or La Cordonnerie, two addresses very popular for their specialty coffee and pastries, or take a gourmet break at Café Pontochoux, a friendly neighborhood spot. For lunch or dinner, Marais classics like Breizh Café for Breton pancakes or Le Progrès, a typically Parisian café-brasserie, are easily accessible, as are lively bars and restaurants around Rue de Bretagne and Place des Vosges, all easily accessible for a gastronomic stroll. For your daily shopping, local shops, delicatessens, greengrocers and mini markets are within walking distance for fresh bread, fruit, wine and local products.

Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in time begins at 3:00 PM. until 9:00 PM. Subject to availability, we can welcome you from 9:00 PM to midnight and a supplement of 20€ will be asked. After midnight, the check in can only be possible the next day from 9:30 AM.
Check-out time is 11:00 AM at the latest. For early arrivals or late departures, availability will be confirmed 24 hours prior, with any applicable fees clearly communicated.
A concierge service will send you the details of an agent who will give you the keys to my apartment. He will answer your questions about the apartment and how it works, as well as about the neighborhood.
Deposit Requirement
A deposit of €250 is essential for accessing the property, payable online ONLY by credit card via SWIKLY. Expect a refund from 21 business days post-departure, provided no damages are noted.

Holidays Discovery
The location was really excellent. Lots of cafes, restaurants and other shops nearby but the actual street was quiet. There's also a supermarket nearby. The Saint-Sebastian metro stop is right near the end of the block.The apartment was clean inside.The couch was pretty uncomfortable to sit on, maybe ok for sleeping? There was no kitchen table, just a counter with three stools. The combination washer dryer had no instructions. The washer function worked just ok. The dryer function basically just heats the clothes up, there is no air vent. We dried our clothes for several hours. They were warm and maybe a little dryer than the spin cycle got them. We hung them up to dry.The bedroom was very good. A comfortable queen size bed, outlets and small tables on both sides. There was a long shelf so close to one side of the bed as to make it hard to get in but we just moved it.The kitchen was full of ikea stuff, not fancy but enough of it. The bathroom was supplied with one exeedingly small container of body wash.Communication with the host was not great. I think they were located in a different country. We sent them a couple of questions via vrbo messaging. We always got back a message saying they would look into it but it then took a long time to get a real response.These are all small complaints and are overwhelmed by the great location.

The communication with the property management company was terrible. I asked several times about an early check in and was given various different answers. Upon arrival, we waited until the 3pm check in time, only to find that the apartment was not ready and we would need to wait an additional hour to access the property. I called the management company, and a very rude person told me that I would just have to wait. I asked to speak with a supervisor and the person hung up the phone on me. The payment platform is not VRBO and the payment system, Swikly, is all in French and 3 of my credit cards would not allow the payment. The apartment itself is very small and there were no amenities such as shampoo, garbage bags and other basics. Several important lights were burned out and the shower sprayed all over the toilet. The bed is a box springs and mattress on the floor and very uncomfortable. The apartment is on the 3rd floor up 2 sets of steep dark stairs. On the day of check out I was advised I needed to take a picture of the key in the key lockbox and upload it. There was no information on where to upload it, and I ended up sending it via text. Very inconvenient while hurrying out the door at 5:30am. The neighborhood is nice and convenient to the Metro. I would look elsewhere next time.

Regarding the early check-in, please note that we can only confirm early access within 24 hours of arrival, depending on whether the previous guest has checked out and the cleaning has been completed. In your case, the apartment was occupied until the day of your arrival, which unfortunately made early check-in impossible.
We were quite surprised to hear your comment about a rude phone interaction. Our team is known for being professional and attentive, and this does not reflect the standard we hold ourselves to. If something went wrong during the exchange, we sincerely apologize.
As for the Swikly payment system, we understand it may have caused difficulty, especially since it operates primarily in French. However, we were not made aware of the issues you experienced. Had you informed us, we would have been happy to assist you or offer an alternative payment method as an exception.
Concerning the apartment size, it is accurately listed at 40 m² and designed to accommodate up to 4 guests. We're sorry if it felt smaller than expected, but the square footage is clearly stated in the listing.
In terms of amenities, we did verify that a trash bag was placed in the bin and that soap and shampoo samples were provided, as is standard for our rentals. However, please note that we are not a hotel, we offer a starter kit of essentials, and guests are expected to purchase additional supplies as needed.
We regret that you experienced burned-out lights and an issue with the shower, but unfortunately, this was not reported during your stay. Had we been informed, we would have gladly resolved it immediately.
As for the bed, we want to clarify that the mattress is placed on a proper bed frame with a box spring, just like a standard bed. It is absolutely not on the floor, and we believe there may have been some misunderstanding.
Regarding the stairs, Parisian buildings often don’t have elevators, especially in historic areas. This is common and reflected in the listing, but we understand it can be challenging for some guests.
Lastly, about the key return photo, we simply ask guests to send us a quick picture of the key in the lockbox, as part of our standard check-out procedure. You are free to send it via message, email, or text, whichever is most convenient.
