About this property

⭐ JUPITER’S FAMOUS RIVER HOUSE ⭐ Private Beach, Spa, and Boat ⭐

Originally built in 1962, the River House received a major restoration in 2021, and features an unforgettable vintage coastal theme. The house sits directly on the Loxahatchee Riverfront in Jupiter, Florida, facing east with panoramic views of the bay. It features top-end amenities including a white sandy beach, an 8-person spa, luxury bedding, 300 mbps internet, and a 22-speaker garden sound system. Jupiter inlet, amazing dining and nightlife, and the lighthouse are less than 2 miles away.

The River House's vintage coastal style is truly unique. The house has rich history and is decorated with a collection of antiques and collectibles throughout. The interior spaces have been tastefully restored but retain their original character. You'll notice original cedar walls throughout the house, whitewashed during the restoration to provide a bright and open feel while retaining the house's rustic charm.

Days at the River House:
-Wake up every morning to the panorama of the unobstructed orange sunrise.
-Overlook the Loxahatchee River, one of Florida's official Aquatic Preserves, from the elevated treehouse with your morning coffee.
-Immerse yourself in nature as Ospreys hunt and Dolphins peruse the shallow river waters.
-Walk the meandering paths through the River House's extraordinary landscape, featuring varieties of native and exotic plantings and water features.
-Watch the kids play on the beach, where they observe families of adorable Puffer Fish at the water's edge, capture land and sea crabs from the mangroves, or cast a line from the dock.
-Jump on the kayaks, paddleboards, or beach bikes for a morning expedition.
-Return from your morning trip and enjoy a cocktail and a bubbly dip in the 8-person spa, your favorite beach vibes playing from the 16-speaker outdoor audio system.
-Enjoy a spectacular waterside meal, cooked on our Weber Summit Kamado grill, fit for even the most selective grill master.
-If you're lucky, see our neighboring Gopher Tortoises out for a leafy roadside snack in the evening.
-Gather on the beach for toasty bonfire as the light slips away, enjoying some roasted mallows and the reflection of the moon over the water.

Come to the River House to connect with each other, the rich history of the property, and nature. Your experience will be filled with Seclusion, Tranquility, and Antiquity. Enjoy!

Tropical Thanksgivig
We had a splendid time at the River House over Thanksgiving. My family (my husband, myself, our 5 children as my mother) wanted to do something different this holiday. The RH was unique, had so many neat amenities. The cove is very private, except for the folks that came to do yard work that we didn’t expect and the occasional boat that glides through to park at the public dock next door, but other than that it has a very Gilligans island feel. My children frolicked o the “mini beach” and adored the paddle boats and kayak. Also, every bed was sooooo comfortable! We had some minor issues getting hot water in the upstairs showers but it eventually came, just took a bit. The Home was everything we were looking for and we feel grateful to have found it. Best wishes, Kelly and Jim, we hope we can visit again soon!

Unique Place
Pro's: This property is pretty secluded at the end of the road. If you are in fishing this is a pretty good spot. There is a dock that goes out and a platform. I have 4 kids that love to fish - I probably spent $500.00 on bait and tackle @ a really close tackle shop. We caught a Sting Ray, Cat Fish, Snapper, Puffers, etc. Baby puffers and crabs are all over the shoreline. Lot's of lizards running around. If you have kids it's safe and trapped in so they will have fun for hours. The beach fire pit and chairs were a nice touch - and the outdoor area is really relaxing - we didn't go to the beach one time that we were here. Con's: It's right next to a public or neighborhood marina... not that is was an extreme but all day long there are boats either being dropped in or going out and it's between a public dock and this home. Again for the most part all people were considerate at night there was a few random times ppl were over there swearing and yelling for 15 minutes at most. While we were staying @ the place the master bathroom door wouldn't close and the guest bathroom on the second floor water pressure wasn't working.... so that was a bummer but we didn't let that ruin our trip. The kitchen is a bit small for a family of 6 but we made do - the outdoor grill is a great feature you will need to grab charcoal but it's a nice grill to cook on but it's not gas and you'll need to make a trip to the store. At the end of the trip the host called me to address an issue with the blinds in one of the bedrooms, it apparently came of or was loose? honestly was shocked due to all the smaller issues we had while renting the place. The host was very available during the trip. We didn't know what day trash was or simple things like that - a leave behind would have been helpful as we could have taking the trash to the road if we would have known what day it comes. Overall this is a great place, and very unique - I'd highly recommend this place. Location is great, and it's a great place to relax.
