The Neighborhood: Centrally-located in the burgeoning Midtown Alley Design District, you'll be minutes away from virtually every major destination in the city. Phenomenal dining and nightlife options within walking distance include world-famous Pappy's Smokehouse, The Southern, Urban Chestnut Brewing, The Fountain on Locust, and many more. Here's a little more about the Midtown Alley Design District from the community's website:
“Originally called Automobile Row, Midtown Alley was St. Louis’s prime spot to purchase cars between 1911 and 1955. In 2005, the neighborhood was added to the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. National Park Service. While none of the original automobile businesses remain, the buildings–many of which were designed by the famed architect Preston Bradshaw–still stand as a reminder of what first made this neighborhood so special in the city of St. Louis.
Today, Midtown Alley is one of the fastest growing neighborhoods in St. Louis. New restaurants such as Brennan’s Work and Leisure, Small Batch, and Egg Midtown are opening up next to older neighborhood staples like The Fountain on Locust and Pappy’s Smokehouse. The heart of our neighborhood, however, can be found in the local St. Louis design businesses that call Midtown Alley their home.
Within the past ten years, our neighborhood has entered into a new renaissance, thanks in no small part to the designers, architects, and artists who saw the potential of this seven-block stretch and breathed new life into the area.
Walking down Locust Street, one can feel the creative energy of the neighborhood. New firms pioneering innovative business models are opening their doors next to ice cream shops, modeling agencies, and local barbecue hangouts. This eclectic mix of old and new has become the defining feature of Midtown Alley. As new businesses pop up and students and long-time residents alike flock to Midtown’s residential lofts, there can be no doubt that Midtown Alley is St. Louis’s creative epicenter. Just as Midtown’s past can be seen in the historic buildings lining the sidewalks, the neighborhood’s future is found in the creative businesses that brought these structures back to life."

Great place to stay. Close to SLU and Barnes. Very comfortable and clean. Comfy bed. I will stay here again definitely. Brandon is excellent about providing all the details you need and quick to respond.
The building, loft and location was very nice and clean. Neighborhood is quiet and charming with some good restaurants just around the corner! Check-in process was simple, easy and owner was quick to respond:)
Very modern, industrial, and clean studio. Everything you need. Close to Arts District with lots of options around within a 10 minute walk. Would stay again!
The entire place has a modern industrial feel. The studio was spacious and clean. I would recommend the parking pass which gives you access to gated parking. Everything about the place was perfect for our weekend stay.
The listing for this property is very accurate! This is my second booking and I've been very pleased with both bookings. The Host is amazing to work with and went above and beyond to accommodate me with last minute requests. I highly recommend booking with him! You won't be disappointed!!
What a great alternative to a hotel; not only a great location to everything downtown including restaurants and the St. Louis nightlife, but easy access to the interstate and minutes to the airport. The setup the apartment had was larger than expected with ever amenity you would have in your personal home. 5 stars....
Ok, but not great. Overall, satisfactory. Communication with owner a bit convoluted and less than satisfactory.

I do not recommend this place. I wasn’t even able to stay there because I couldn’t get in and no one that worked there would help. After I payed for it they wanted more money for some reason. And the guy I did talk to was not trying to help at all. And after all of that I told him I wanted my money back and he told me that I couldn’t get it back.
