Shelley's Lakehouse

My house is secluded, quiet and in the country. Close by Applegate Cove & Marina/Campground and the Arkansas River/Kerr Lock & Dam. Easy freeway access, 8 miles from town. Nearby stores and restaurant. Beautiful setting with all the amenities of home. Fully equipped kitchen, laundry room with a porch swing to hear the barges horns going thru the dam while enjoying the sunset on the porch swing. Leave the city behind and come relax!!

Please double check for personal items. Thank you for staying. Have safe travels home.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Place was clean and inviting.

I will be recommending this place to the rest of my family that travels to Oklahoma quite often. Soooo much better than the dirty hotels in Sallisaw.

Shelly’s Lake House

Family trip

Great for a quick trip to visit family. Very friendly owners and they were fantastic in helping us reunite our daughter with her stuffy she left behind.

A nice secluded older home with easy access to the area. Easy in and out. Good catfish across the street! Recommend this spot for any recreational activities at the locks or water ways.

Shellys Place

The home is in a great central location for us to visit friends nearby. The home is clean and well kept. I would question the one king size bed as it seems to be a queen. The other bed is a double. Otherwise everything in the home worked well. In the mornings and evenings we relaxed sitting in the swing on the front porch and watched the deers and rabbits. There is a great restuarant across the street named Shads Catfish Hole. When in town we would definitely stay here.

Disappointed

We came from out of town, showed up late that first night house was decent but AC was broken. Luckily we could open the windows and be somewhat comfortable. AC never got fixed had to find somewhere else to stay.

Overall pretty pleased.

Overall I was pretty pleased with the property and stay considering the price was so good. My family and I stayed here for 2 weeks or close to and it was quiet and peaceful. A trip we truly enjoyed

I am living in okc ok. When I got married I moved up here to be with my husband. That's when I decided to rent my house out because I love spending time in the country every chance I get. It's so peaceful n quiet sitting on porch swing at nite. I sometimes miss the silence .

I didn't wanna just leave it sitting there with no one to enjoy the things I enjoy about being home in the country.

What makes this property unique

Watching and listening to nature is awesome. The marina n camping n playground is closeby. Town is 8 miles away but for last minute items there's stores close by
