Renovated workshop as a single house for up to 7 persons in the historical center

Old Locksmith (125 m2) on 2 floors with a small backyard (barbecue) and a terrace (garden furniture), in a dead end next to the river "Lauter" and the medieval city walls. Downstairs is a large open space with a fully equipped kitchen, living room, large dining table and sofa corner place (sofa bed for 2 persons). On the floor there are 2 bedrooms (1 with double bed and 1 with 3 single beds). A bathroom (with toilet and shower) is located on each floor. Fi, Towels, Linen. Dishwasher, 2 coffee machines, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, oven, washing machine, dryer, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.

An absolute GEM!

Wow! One word summarizes this property. My wife and I loved the online pictures, but there is no picture that can describe the absolute charm of this property. The care that was put into the decoration and presentation is unmatched. The pre-check-in details and communication that the owner personally addressed were more than a renter could ask for. We walked into what we thought would be a typical VRBO only to be treated like royalty. It is truly difficult to put into words how breathtaking this property is. From the majestic windows and high ceilings to the kitchen amenities, to the courtesy of the host and their entire family. We were only able to stay for a few days, but we didn't want to leave. I can not recommend this property enough and would gladly return if we find ourselves in this area again. To our host, thank you for such a joyful stay!

Den vielen sehr positiven Bewertungen können wir uns nur anschließen. Wir haben hier Anfang/Mitte Oktober eine ganz tolle Woche verbracht. Das Haus mit seiner großzügigen, hellen und freundlichen Architektur, der sehr guten Ausstattung, der zentrumsnahen aber doch ruhigen Lage an der Lauter bildete den perfekten Ausgangspunkt für unsere Wanderungen, Radtouren und sonstigen Ausflüge in der näheren - teilw. direkt "ab Haus" - und auch weiteren Umgebung. Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an sehr wohl gefühlt und jedes Mal gefreut, nach einer schönen Tour wieder in das Haus zurückzukehren. Es war wohl die Kombination aus der Unterkunft an sich und deren Lage, die den Aufenthalt für uns so stimmig machte. So kann man sich etwa unterwegs schon vorfreudig überlegen, ob man abends zum Essen noch kurz entlang der Lauter in das Zentrum schlendert oder dort doch nur lieber etwas Leckeres zum gemütlichen Abendessen im Haus einkauft, da beides sehr entspannt fußläufig möglich ist. Auch die völlig reibungslose und unkomplizierte Kommunikation mit den symphatischen und hilfsbereiten, aber dabei stets dezenten Vermietern trug sicherlich einen Teil zum rundum positiven Gesamterlebnis bei. Herzlichen Dank an Familie Seitz (inkl. Hauskatze ;-) noch einmal dafür...Wir würden auf jeden Fall sehr gerne wiederkommen, zumal auch die Frage, wo es tatsächlich das beste Croissant vor Ort gibt, noch einer weiteren und eingehenderen Klärung bedarf ;-)

Traumhafter Kurzurlaub

Wir waren zum 3. Mal jetzt vor Ort. Für uns passt alles. Wunderschönes Haus, gute Lage, alles sehr modern, perfekt ausgestattet, zwei große Bäder sind super für vier Personen, Schatten-Terasse fürs Frühstück und schöne SonnenTerasse dazu.

Das Haus ist toll. Ein top modern renovierter Altbau für Familien in allerschönster Lage. Es gibt drei Terrassen, auf denen man sich von Wanderungen ausruhen oder Frühstücken kann. Ab und an schaut die Hauskatze vorbei und schaut nach dem Rechten. Gemütlich, alt und neu auf gelungene Weise verbunden und beste Lage. Mehr kann man sich nicht wünschen.

Perfektes Wochenende zentrumsnah in Weissembourg

Wir hatten einen sehr guten und entspannten Aufenthalt in dem Ferienhaus ganz in der Nähe des Zentrums von Weissembourg. Direkt an der Lauter gelegen, war es der ideale Ausgangspunkt für Erkundungen der Stadt und Umgebung. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ließ keine Wünsche offen und die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein perfektes Wochenende.

Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft im Herzen von Wissembourg

Wir hatten 3 wundervolle Tage in dieser Unterkunft. Diese ist sehr aufwändig umgebaute alte Schmiede und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung läßt keine Wünsche übrig. Auch die Betreuung durch den Gastgeber was ausgezeichnet. Wir können dieses Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Vielen Dank dafür.

Perfect huis voor 5 à 7 personen

Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en ligt mooi aan het water. Aan de inrichting ontbreekt niets. De eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaam en aardig. Een aanrader voor wie van wandelen houdt, lekker eten en het bezoeken van steden en dorpen.

Wissenbourg offered us a unique opportunity to visit a village with historic rampart fortifications beautiful walking paths, hidden secrets, great bakeries and restaurants and a renovated workshop to come home to with all the modern conveniences one can imagine.

Zwei schöne Tage im Herbst

Wissembourg ist eine wunderschöne kleine Stadt im Unterelsaß, die wir über ein langes Wochenende erkundet haben und immer eine Reise wert. Die Ferienwohnung in der alten Schlosserei ist supertoll ausgestattet und traumhaft hergerichtet. Alles ist blitzsauber, die Vermieter sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und nett. Die Bilder und die Beschreibung der Wohnung treffen zu 100% zu. Sehr zu empfehlen...wir bedanken uns herzlich. hergerichtethergerichtet und blitzsauber.

Wunderbare Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist perfekt! Wunderbar gelegen, direkt an der Lauter. Das Zentrum von Wissembourg ist fußläufig erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Der Kontakt mit den Gastgebern war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert. Vielen Dank!

Freundliche hilfsbereite Vermieter. Das Haus ist komplett neu renoviert. Sehr großer Wohn-und Küchenbereich. Perfekt ausgestattet. Es fehlt an nichts und sehr schön eingerichtet.. Schöne Bäder. Lage Fußläufig am Zentrum und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Können wir uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Perfekter Aufenthalt!

Wir haben es klasse angetroffen bei Frau Setz, die Ferienwohnung ist so gut ausgestattet, wie keine zuvor! Mehr als ausreichendes Geschirr, Gläser, Messer, etc. Es ist an alles gedacht, sogar geschirrspülmittel/tabs, Trockentücher, sehr viele frische Handtücher! Tolle Wohnung, große Empfehlung!
