Great Experience

This house was everything the listing said it would be! Although, we were much closer to the water than the listing portrayed. All of us were very pleased with the house from the size, to the comfort, to the way it was stocked with having everything we needed. I would definitely book this place again!

Fun weekend getaway!

We just stayed at this property with another family for a weekend getaway. The upstairs master bedroom was spacious with a balcony overlooking the living room (the kids loved that haha). There are 3 bedrooms on the main level - 2 are down a hallway with a bathroom and 1 off the kitchen with a bathroom. The house is not gut renovated like some of the other ones we visited, but the kids thought it was an absolute dream home! There are hiding spots for them and the owner has a ton of toys for kids which was a pleasant surprise!! There is an outdoor shower which is a must with sandy kids before going inside. The owners have a ton of kitchen amenities to help with cooking. We really enjoyed our stay!!!

Outstanding

A really wonderful place to stay on Galveston Island to enjoy the Gulf and explore Galveston. The Great Room is very comfortable with surround windows that give a good view of the Gulf. The deck off the Great Room also has a good view of the Gulf and is great for morning coffee while listening to the waves and enjoying the sun The kitchen is well equipped with excellent cookware and dinner ware. The Master Bedroom is spectacular and has a great Master Bath. Alex Seafood is only a half mile away and has excellent seafood, especially the shrimp. The nearby markets don't carry fresh foods, so we did most of our shopping at Randalls, which had everything anyone could need and is only a short drive away. The beach is only a few hundred feet away and we enjoyed daily long walks on the beach. The State Park is nearby and has excellent marsh trails and a geocache. A day trip to the Houston Space Center is well worth it. Communications with Lauren and Denver was excellent. They answered all our questions quickly, often within minutes. They went above and beyond great service by installing an outlet in the car port for our electric vehicle. I highly recommend Pirates Beach.

Great House and Stay

The house is in a terrific location with nice views of the water from the decks. The communication was excellent and the house was as advertised. We would love to come back again in the future.
