This property is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath beach view home in the community of Pirates Beach subdivision. It has 2 kings, 1 queen, and 4 full bunk beds and two sleeper couches so we can accommodate OVER 8 with approval.
Located just a few hundred yards from the beach, this beautiful bungalow is the perfect setting for your family vacation.

A large driveway can park 4 cars. On the ground floor there is an entrance to the guest suite which has two bedrooms, bathroom and laundry room. The flight of stairs leads up to a massive covered deck that will be the meeting and entertaining spot for your entire vacation. Relax, listen to the surf and take in the view of the beach as you decompress from your other life. Inside the home is an open concept living room, dining room and kitchen with a floor to ceiling windows that encourage family game nights and casual conversation. Winding stairs lead up to a quiet third floor with two bedrooms. The home is set up so that 2 separate families can enjoy the patio but still have their own privacy if they should need it.

Second Master Bedroom: King bed & shared bath, located on the third floor.

Private Separate Entrance from the ground floor includes :
Third Bedroom, Private Queen bed , on the ground floor conveniently located near the bathroom.

3 rd Full bath with patio accessibility located on the 2nd floor.

Pirates Beach subdivision offers a safe environment for you and your family. Within walking distance is Mario's Pizza, a fully stocked convenience store that also serves food. There is a neighborhood liquor store that carries array of libations for beach festivities.

We had a great time at this beach house. It was a quick walk to the beach. Sunrises at the beach were amazing. The second deck porch was a great place to sit anytime of the day with the beach breeze even in the heat of summer.

Pirate's Beach Vacation

The house is great, especially the deck. My family had a blast. The house is close to the beach, on a great street and very comfortable. The owner was responsive to our every need and we would definitely go back.

Great family bungalow!

Our family had a wonderful time at Bobbi’s Bungalow! The house itself, the amenities, the porch, the view of the beach and the distance to the beach were all perfect! We didn’t want to leave! We hope the house is available next summer because we will definitely book it again!

Great week in fabulous location

Great house for families! Outdoor shower a wonderful surprise. Property is super clean with lots of amenities and personal touches. Host is extremely communicative and helpful. Very close to family oriented beach. We had a wonderful time with our grandchildren.

Really Nice Place

We would definitely book again. Short walk to the beach, like 2 minutes end of the block. All the beach accessories are provided along with wagons to haul it all. Clean place, lots of games provided. Huge deck, we were there a lot. We cooked a lot and the kitchen had most everything we needed. One thing to note-the two ground floor bedrooms were not “connected” to the upstairs inside, only by outside stairs. It was fine for us, but may not be for younger kids by themselves. Really nice owner and easy to get ahold of. Bathrooms were great and lots of hot water. Really enjoyed our weekend!

Great Place for a Family Vacation

This beautiful beach house made for a wonder family vacation for 7 of us. It is within easy walking distance to the beach; has a large great patio with comfortable lounge chairs positioned for sun or shade; the living room is perfect for family conversations and everything is tastefully designed. The owner was extremely gracious, and the nice touches were beyond expectation: doggie treat; baby pack and play; lots of supplies and even after sun lotion...and many others. While we had to walk outside to go from the bottom 2 bedrooms to main living area, that wasn't a problem for us at all. The owner could not have been more gracious or helpful, and we would recommend this beautiful beach house to any family wanting a beach vacation at a nice house with great amenities and no traffic noise. Thanks for letting us stay!

Paradise in Texas

What a wonderful home to stay in with all the extras you can possibly need. Our family of 5 stayed for 5 nights and even prepared Thanksgiving dinner! A beautiful table everyone can sit at and enjoy time together. A very short walk to the beach every morning and evening that was never crowded. Seashells scattered about and clean! Our host was very prompt on questions and super nice!!! I would definitely stay again but do know if you have trouble with stairs it’s not the place for you. I have a daughter with disabilities and getting her down the stairs outside was a daily issue especially in the dark to the apartment downstairs. I had hoped it was all connected for the bedrooms but the 1st floor is a separate area to sleep. Laundry room was in that building as well which was spotless!!! Still with that being said it’s a fabulous stay!!! Thank you for hosting us!

Awful Smell

The 2nd and 3rd floor of the house had living area, patio, and 2 bedrooms. They were maintained and owner provided extra amenities for guests to enjoy. The drawbacks: two bedrooms on the third floor had no windows (possible fire hazard). The stairs were very narrow and steep (made it hard for my aunt to go up). The problem was with 1st floor bedrooms. When we walked in, we noticed a strong ordor. The host told us it could be an air wick. We unpluged them; odor was still very evident. I noticed there were two dehumidifiers with instructions to keep them running continuously, keep ceiling and oscillating fans running, and to open blinds to let light in to help with humidity in the room. I had never heard of doing this at a beach house before. Over our stay, the odor did not improve. We emptied the dehumidifiers 3-4 times a day. In the morning, they were both full of water. I contacted the host, who sent out maintenance. He told me the room did smell a little musty, but he didn’t think the host had rented the room in a while and maybe that was the problem. I pointed out black stains on walls. He said it was wood coming through paint. I was very concerned. I noticed that there was a black stain on the shelves. I told the host while the main part of thouse was nice, I could not rent this house again due to sickening smell that was in the room. She turned on me saying that no one had ever reported this smell and she would make a comment on our account. This was the worst experience I have had renting a house. Even worse is when I got home, everything we had taken with us stunk. We had to wash all of our laundry twice and may have to throw away the pillows and purses we took with us. Even our chargers stunk. This was one of the worst experiences I’ve had renting a house. The host did little to accommodate our experience. She told me that her maintenance guy didn’t notice the smell (he told me he smelled it) and that it hadn’t been reported before. I went back in reviews and someone reported it in 2020. Our day guest said they wouldn’t dare sleep in room, my aunt said she couldn’t have stayed in room, and a guest staying in the house next door thought smell was concerning. I wanted to leave, but hated to end my family’s vacation. We suffered headaches for days after we got home. I asked for 1/2 of my stay to be refunded The owner has not contacted to resolve and VRBO has been no help. Big mistake on my part renting this house. It ruined my vacation.

The bedrooms downstairs were very small, very smelly. The kitchen was very small as well, not convenient for families or cooking. The bedrooms upstairs had slanted roof which didnt show on the pics. The bbq pit was very rusted. The beach chairs were also old except for 2 Very small and narrow stairs case to lead upstairs

Awesome place

The host was incredibly kind and really went above and beyond to help accommodate us after Hurricane Beryl blew through and worked to make sure our stay was perfect. Great location, close to the beach and we love that it had a ground level rooms for the older folks who can't easily do stairs and a room of bunks for kids/teens. The deck was perfect for eating and lounging. Great place! We'll be back!

Perfect Property!

This home had everything we needed! Space for teens below. Living space above for everyone to gather to watch movies. And oh. The covered porch was a dream with the breeze coming in!!!! Very few homes have such a large covered porch and this was perfect! Jennifer’s hospitality was spot on with nice touches and excellent communication. Hands down we would stay here again!!!

Cute getaway

This house is in the perfect location. The host also adds little touches to make it feel like a bed and breakfast. Two of the rooms are completely separate from the kitchen, living, and other two rooms. You have to go outside and downstairs to get to the other 2 rooms. Two of the rooms are also all the way upstairs with a narrow staircase. Nothing wrong with it, just for reference purposes.

You know what they say "location, location, location!" We absolutely love this area and wanted a family friendly home that was close to the beach. The house was nicely maintained but we added our own special touches this year. Come see for yourself!
