We enjoyed our visit. Kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were comfortable . There was a bit of traffic noise when we sat outside but we still had a good time.
This cabin was perfect for my husband and I and our daughter and dog. It was clean with charming decor and equipped with everything we needed. Having the fenced yard and doggy door was a huge plus for us. Would definitely stay there again.
Great property!! I love the wide open feel to it and it was super cute. Kitchen had everything and then some!! The location couldn’t be beat and the neighborhood was awesome to walk the dogs around. Definitely recommend.
the house fit all our needs and the fenced in yard was great. We had a few questions when we arrived and Cris responded immediately and was very helpful. We would definitely stay again
I loved the cabin. Reminded me of back home. Only problem is the steps. Maybe not a good place for older people. Our dog loved loved loved the doggy door and the fenced in front yard. Everything u need is there. Just take ur personals and food. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

All about expectations
If your just needing a warm roof, bed and kitchen with some dvd nighttime entertainment this fits the bill. If your wanting a place to hangout its not very bright inside and mostly older kitchen and furnishings inside. Make sure you read the directions for parking before yoi get there.
Nice cozy place . Pretty much have everything you need . Close to downtown. Love the patio , we had our tea and croissants their every morning. The fire pit was a bonus . Really nice comfortable living room . Lots of movie selections. Bedrooms was big enough and also comfortable. The only thing was the pull out couch was in the garage so not really functional for us but I would still give this a 5 star review because the couch and the recliners in the living room was really comfortable. We would definitely stay here again . This place was definitely a gem .
Everthing was great except the owner lost his cleaning person the day we were coming and didnt have the house ready when we arrived. He got there and cleaned and changed the bedding and got the place ready. We had to wait about 1 1/2 hour before we could settle in. That wasnt so bad. He said he would compensate us the dog fee, but havent seen that yet. Overall it is a wonderful place to stay. Very close to town (1mile) and safeway is just across the street. 2nd time weve been there and will certainly go back.
Met our needs…dog friendly with yard, air conditioned, nicely decorated. Parking was only issue. Driveway was extremely steep. We have a 4x4 Sprinter. It made it up, but the incline was so steep that opening the doors was difficult. We couldn’t park below on Friday due to the water pump truck, but parked there on Saturday/Sunday. Owner had posted info about the driveway, but “seeing was believing.”
First of all, there are no better hosts to be found. Chris went above and beyond when he didnt have to and even when it truly wasnt expected. Chris...thank you very much. Its the unexpected things that mean the most to me. The house was incredibly clean and ultra welcoming. We didnt cook nor eat here but it is crystal clear that if your intentions were to cook that you would have everything required. The beds were warm, soft, clean, and oh so comfortable. Nice hot showers with great water pressure. The driveway was an intense welcome at our arrival and I did recall reading about it but forgot until the memory of what I read come rushing back to me. It turned out to be the highlight of our trip...will easily become a story we talk about for years to come and in a great way. Even though a "flat spot" was available we were instantly addicted to the driveway and would never even consider not using it. Great patio, if it were not a bit chilly this morning we would have taken in everything it has to offer - so I guess we need to come back specifically to hang on the patio. Overall a great place with an amazing host.
This was the 4th time i stayed here. Enjoyed each time. The dog door is awsome. Great fenced yard. All the accommodation were great. I always stay here when in Prescott.
We had a wonderful time at your rental. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of cookware and dishes. We had a very relaxing weekend thank to the comfort of your home. The recliners and couch were very comfy to settle down and watch a movie at the end of the day. We will be back.
We enjoyed our stay in Prescott. The cabin was very cozy and had everything we needed for a two night stay. Our dog loved the dog door(doesn’t have one at home so he was in heaven!). Only drawback was the steep driveway, which was well documented by the owner. I have some balance issues so had to be extra careful. Other than that it was all good!
There was plenty of room for our family of 5 people and 2 dogs. We walked to dinner about a half mile away and also to Safeway right around the corner. We were short on time this trip and did not make it downtown but it was only about a mile walk to do so. We enjoyed our stay. Not a bad place if you want to be close to downtown and bring your pets.
Once you get up the steep driveway its all goood!
Comfortable accommodations, good amenities, kitchenware and spices were much appreciated.
Only complaint would be the dog droppings left in the front yard....buts that's more on lazy pet owners and no so much mngmt.
Everything you need, walking distance to safeway and downtown. Was nice to have coffee in the morning on the front deck with the sunrise. Would stay here again!
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a worry free relaxing stay.

Hi this is Kris. I live just outside Sedona and am opening another smaller bnb here. I have a passion for working with unique living spaces such as this one. For my 'regular' career I'm an Art Therapist. I enjoy cycling, paddle boarding, chess, audiophile, books and am an avid tennis player.
Why they chose this property
Commonly known as the 'Chateau Relaxo' very unassuming and humble from the outside, very modern and remodeled on the inside. This cabin epitomizes the feel and charm of Prescott nestled in the pine forest, Yet less then 1.5 mile from historic downtown. Quite ideal and practical in so many ways.
What makes this property unique
The kitchen, dining area and living room are all part of the open floor plan design. Thus being the case it is very ideal and encourages family living and togetherness. Beautiful views of the Acker Hill Range as well. . .
