We stayed in the Sandpiper II condo building at the Vacation Village at Weston. The condo was clean and spacious. The kitchen had all the needed appliances. The unit was clean and well furnished. It was a 2 unit lock-off with an interior door access between the units. It was nice and we enjoyed our stay (the 3rd stay at Vacation Village
at Weston). There were 2 near-by heated pools. There were several differences in the actual condo and the VRBO description. The main A unit had a king bed, a jetted tub and walk-in shower and not a tub shower combination and no desk. The second B unit had a queen bed not a king bed as advertised. There in no indoor pool at the whole Vacation Village complex as was advertised. We were specifically looking for a unit with 2 king beds so this was a disappointment but not a deal breaker. Weston is convenient to the FLL airport add a short drive to Ft Lauderdale, Miami and the Everglades so it is good for day trips around south Florida. Many good restaurants-especially liked Lucille's American Café, The Original Pancake House, the Farmer's Market Restaurant in Florida City (best key lime pie) and the Tin Fish Restaurant in Sunrise. The Vizcaya House and the Deering House tour and cruise to Boca Chita Key were great! About a 3 1/2 hour drive to Key West.
