This home was definitely one of the best experiences in our Vrbo history! The host, Oro, was phenomenal, understanding and accommodating. Easy check in and out. Exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet. The backyard and lake view are very peaceful. Precious, almost tame deer grazing throughout the day. Absolutely the most comfortable bed I've slept in away from home! This home is worth staying in for the bed alone. Oro has outfitted the place with high-end touches and everything necessary to feel at home. If I'm ever in the area again, this is the only place I'll stay. 10/10.

Yard was not maintained and part of the reason we booked it. Planned to spend most days out in the yard but grass was too tall for little kids. House was beautiful and had everything we needed inside. Not the most kid nor pet friendly. Certain furniture was not kid or pet friendly. No stair rail protection (not kid friendly).

A wonderful country get away.

We stayed at the property while on a girls trip to Round trip. The property is surrounded by lots of wildlife that was fun to watch. Very clean and accommodating, one of the nicest VRBO’s I’ve stayed at.

The house was very well done, relaxing, and comfortable. I was supposed to be hunting this weekend, but instead came to Somerville. A real treat and bonus for me was to just do the deer out the window every morning in the evening. In fact, I want to pretty buck this morning for about 30 minutes. That was really nice for this area of the country. I definitely wanna come back and help. My kind host will allow me to.

The house was very modern and clean. The kitchen had new appliances and was spotless. Dishes, cooking pots and pans were provided. Coffee and tea were provided and had two kinds of coffee makers, Kurig and Mr. Coffee. Beds and pillows were great. It was fun to watch all the deer come up to the yard while we had our coffee in the morning and evenings.

Beauty and nature

My stay at the Somerville Lake House was an enchanting escape into nature's embrace. Nestled in the heart of serene beauty, the property is a haven for those seeking tranquility. The deer roaming freely added a touch of enchantment, creating a magical backdrop to the entire experience. The lake house itself is a testament to refined taste and thoughtful design. The interiors are tastefully decorated, and the amenities are top-notch, ensuring a luxurious yet cozy retreat. The beautiful surroundings, combined with the well-maintained property, create an atmosphere of relaxation that's hard to match. From leisurely strolls along the lake to enjoying the spectacular sunsets, every moment felt like a pause from the hustle of daily life. Whether indoors or outdoors, the Somerville Lake House offers a perfect blend of comfort and natural beauty, making it an ideal destination for anyone seeking a rejuvenating getaway. Highly recommended!

Treasure find at Lake Somerville!

We absolutely enjoyed our mini getaway! We were looking to get something close to the lake with a boat ramp since my daughter had a fishing tournament the weekend of our stay. We were only 5 min away to drop the boat in the water! It was perfect! The host was highly communicative and very accommodating. This place had everything; even a cute dog kennel! The farmhouse decor was tastefully done and it was extremely clean with wooden floors. If I had a lake house or beach house I would love to duplicate this cute place! We were elated to find there was a coffee station with a Keurig and next to it was a s’mores kit. Kids loved it! I especially appreciated the spices to cook with (cooking oil, flour, sugar creamer, salt, pepper, etc) and bath toiletries. Everything at this place was very thought out. The only thing we wished it had were blinds in the living room. Tho we love the open space, but also could have used some privacy at night with our family. We had fish bowl vibes. Since we didn’t know the area we felt like everyone could see in. This could be a concern for safety sake. Other than that it was perfect for our little family! We will most definitely be back!
