Newly updated lakefront cabin located in the park like setting of Edgewater Beach Resort on beautiful Lake Taneycomo. You will enjoy an open floor plan and large covered deck with a private hot tub less than 20 feet from lakeshore. Enjoy the provided kayaks, a wide variety of wildlife, and fish from either your front yard or the 3 docks located on the property, or if you have a boat you want to bring we have a private covered dock slip that you can rent for an additional $30.00 per night! Let us know if you are interested and we will make that available for you. There are quiet coves for kayaking or canoeing. Paved biking and walking trails are next door at Empire Park, as well as an 18 hole disc golf course! An extra large crystal clear swimming pool awaits you in the summer. We are only 20 minutes to Branson and the many activities located there!

I went with my two sisters, for some relaxation, and this place delivered %. We had the best time, the cabin was clean, and we'll furnished and stocked with everything we needed. The amenities were above and beyond. Would recommend.

Absolutely wonderful weekend getaway for our family. The host was also wonderful. Great communication, and helpful. The cabin was very clean, and well stocked. The back porch and lake view was so relaxing. We look forward to visiting in the fall to see all the changes in color.

Property was exactly as advertised and owner was thorough, vigilant, and welcoming with several messages and check-ins. Our stay was brief (2days) but issue free for a family of 5 with 3 smaller children. We love that the hot tub was included (no hidden up charges), complimentary coffee pods, leftover charcoal for use and clean. We made great use of the kayaks for fishing and the public pool is large, never crowded, with a deep end that the kids loved.

The view alone was FIVE stars. Lovely and peaceful.My grandson and his buddy were going non-stop... swimming, fishing, hot tubbing, kayaking. My husband and I enjoyed coffee on the deck, looking at the beautiful view, watching the geese and birds, the fog over the lake...Thank you so much for a wonderful time.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The home felt cozy and had all the necessary amenities. The hot tub was delightful and we used it quite a bit during our visit. We also really enjoyed having a firepit in the evening. Wonderful experience and we are coming back.

We were looking to spend a leisurely weekend, with some nature, peace and quiet. We found it here!The cabin was cozy and immaculately clean. We were able to enjoy the comforts of home, right on the lake. Kayaks were provided, which we took full advantage of daily. Wow! We loved this property. The cabin was immaculately clean, great communication with the host and great location. Very nice park right next door where we walked a 5k every day. Easy access to Branson, about 25 minutes from Sight and Sound Theater. Would definitely stay here again.

This was such a clean, sweet cabin that hubby and I stayed at celebrating our anniversary. The area was so peaceful, the cabin was well stocked and the vrbo hosts were awesome with communication. We are definitely going back and reserving this sweet gem. We saw David at Sights and sounds (AWESOME), rode the tram at Dogwood Canyon (bison sliders were delish at the restaurant plus great views outside while eating), did the golf cart tour at Top of the Rock (so fun!), ate pizza and toasted ravioli from Hooks and Ladder in Hollister (so yummy, and Downing Street looks so cool), we had breakfast twice at Shirley's Kitchen (good food, homey feeling, quirky decor, and very friendly at this local restaurant in Forsyth). I highly recommend this Magnolia cabin if you don't want to stay right in Branson. So many scenic views!

What a treat!! The view, the solitude and the activities at the house were great! The master bed was very cozy but there was a bit of squeaking from one of the beds in the other room when we moved. Small potatoes though! The hot tub was used every day and night-at least twice a day :) my son and I kayaked which was a big highlight. Parks are close, a few trails and close enough to things while being far away. My son loves the games so we had daily time for that while just enjoying the wildlife all around. Would def stay again!!!

We have been coming to Edgewater Beach Resort/Forsyth for almost 60 years. It is our little piece of heaven. We love to observe the wildlife, watch our grandchildren swim in the pool, ride our bikes down the paved trail to Shadowrock Park, and go kayaking and canoeing. We love being able to walk next-door to Empire Park with our kids and grandkids and play a round of disc golf. My grandparents have been taking me to the local Ozark creeks for swimming and rock throwing since I was a child. There is nothing better than a clear, Ozark creek in our opinion. We also love to sit on the deck and play games while listening to the sound of the fish jumping in the water and the call of the wild waterfowl.

Why they chose this property

Magnolia is located in the park like setting of Edgewater Beach Resort. The resort has only one entrance and has speed bumps along the entrance, which makes it very safe for kids to walk and ride their bikes. Magnolia is the most secluded of all of the cabins, with a border of trees on one side and the lakefront directly in front of you. Some say you can even cast a fishing line straight from the deck!
