About this property

Del's 1800's Log Cabin

Experience the Charm of Augusta, KY at Del’s Cabin

Step back in time with a stay at Del’s Cabin, a cozy guest retreat set in an authentic 1800s log cabin. Combining the best of The Cabin at 114 and Bertha’s Cabin, this unique space comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests with 2 queen beds, 2 full beds, and a full pull-out sofa.

Please note: All bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs, and there are multiple open staircases and steps between rooms, so the layout may not be suitable for babies, toddlers, or guests with mobility concerns.

Located right on Main Street—just one block from the Ohio River—you’ll be within walking distance of The Augusta Pub, The Beehive Tavern, The General Store, and Carota’s Pizza. This is a great stop on The B-Line Bourbon Trail and close to:

Soli Tree Wedding Venue – 2.2 mi
Augusta Distillery – 0.5 mi
Baker-Bird Distillery – 1.2 mi

After a day of exploring, relax in the hot tub or around the propane fire pit, both free of charge (note: not included in refunds).

Heads-up: The Augusta Pub next door often features live music on weekends, and trains pass through town at night, which can be quite loud, especially for light sleepers.

Pet-friendly and motorcycle-friendly, Del’s Cabin offers character, charm, and a truly immersive Augusta experience—perfect for travelers looking for a rustic, lively getaway in the heart of Kentucky.

Fun place to stay

Easy check in and out. The kids enjoyed the basement game room and the fenced yard was perfect for our dog.

Ideal Family Getaway in the Heart of Augusta, KY

Perfect spot for a family weekend in Augusta! The log cabin was cozy, clean, and comfortably fit our group spanning three generations. It’s centrally located—right next to the Beehive Restaurant, close to the river, and all the Riverfest fun. Great mix of convenience and relaxation for both kids and grandparents. A great stay all around!

Motorcycle trip

Made this a stop on a motorcycle trip. It was a perfect pick, convenient to local food, and the Ohio river. Great spot to relax, and have a good time in the neighborhood.

Family wedding

We rented out the whole place. Layout is interesting but doable. Snacks in each room a plus, well stocked with towels, soap, shampoo. We enjoyed the hot tub and proximity to the water. Morning stroll by the water was great. Only thing not good was figuring out to set the air conditioning units. Stayed warm in the bedrooms.
