Welcome to Sunset Lodge where each evening you’ll be treated to magnificent sunset in the Great Smoky Mountains. Located in beautiful Wears Valley, just nine miles from Pigeon Forge, this newly built in 2021 regal mountain home privately sits on two wooded acres and sleeps eight guests who seek an adventurous, relaxing, and luxurious space with truly unforgettable mountain views.
Take the steep mountain driveway to experience this majestic home which features Mission Style furniture and Tiffany style lamps. The interior gives a nod to Frank Lloyd Wright and makes for one of the most unique and gorgeous Lodges in the Great Smoky Mountains. Each evening reveals stunning sunsets as you soak up the fresh mountain air, and then, once the sun goes down, the inside of the Lodge comes alive with conversation and relaxing contentment.
On the first floor, the entertainment area has a flat screen TV, granite bar, refrigerator and also features a well-appointed King Suite with a full bathroom.
Upstairs to the second floor, the home opens up to the stunning Great Room featuring a 30’ wall of glass and a floor to ceiling fireplace. Just off the Great Room, you will find a splendid King Master Suite with full bathroom.
Guests will truly appreciate the dining room that has an astonishing view of the Great Smoky Mountains. The fully equipped kitchen, with granite counter tops, plethora of custom-built cabinets, is quite spacious and has the capacity for the family chef to cook those special family meals. Imagine yourself rocking on the deck with an outdoor fireplace on the second floor or eating outdoors on the specially designed outdoor deck.
On up to the third floor to the Game Room where guests of all ages will enjoy a full-size pool table, video games and outdoor hot tub overlooking the gorgeous valley below. Also on the third floor, you will discover another queen suite with a private bath. Just off the Game Room, a bonus room has a day bed with a trundle which provides additional sleeping space to accommodate guests of all ages. If you are seeking a truly unique mountain experience, Sunset Lodge will provide those memories that will last a lifetime.
Special attractions are located next door. You will find the Hawk Skylift known as Sevier County’s highest chairlift with spectacular views! Also, Elvira’s Cafe ranked by Forbes magazine as the top 100 restaurants in the US.

Gary and Vicki have been married for 36 years and have two adult sons, Jared and Jacob and two grandchildren, Lillian and Lincoln. They are both former educators; Gary is now a financial advisor and Vicki stays busy managing their homes in Indiana and the Great Smoky Mountains.
Why they chose this property
Gary and Vicki own another cabin just below their new build called Amazing Memories Lodge. They both fell in love with Wears Valley where they hope to create wonderful memories for their family as well as yours.
Gary and Vicki can only hope you will find the time to relax while rocking on one of the two balconies or read a good novel as you hear the breeze pass through the trees.
