If you’re searching for some much-needed time away from the disasters of life or just need a friendly, possibly educational, and maybe even fun vacation… welcome to The Griswolds!

Enjoy sitting in the living room on the large sofa that everyone can get cozy on and watch all the shows and sports games you feel like on the big screen TV. You can access HULU, Netflix, HBO Max, Xbox, Disney, and live channels. If binging on TV isn’t your jam, there are lots of puzzles, cards, and nostalgic board games for adults and kids of all ages.

If you love to dabble in the kitchen, you’ll love the gas grange, the great selection of pots & pans, and all the fully stocked accessories you may need. Coffee is no joke, so there is a drip coffee maker and a Nespresso maker. Bring your pods or coffee beans. Sit down for meals or a good game of cards at the large dining table.

Relax outside on the comfy oversized chairs while watching the sun rise or cozy up at the fire pit on the patio and star gaze. Conveniently located next to the lower pool and 20-person hot tub that is open year-round.

The location was perfect for little ones - steps to the pool with a grassy lawn in front of the porch where the adults sat for hours watching our kids run and play. The interiors were chic and aesthetically pleasing. We absolutely loved our time here and can’t wait to rent this home again. Thank you!

Great House

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The lookout is really a nice resort. The House was perfect layout for our family and its super close the the main pool. The docks were super nice they dont have a launch so you have to drive to the next town launch and then come back but it was very easy. There is no boat/trailer parking by the houses but there is a good size lot down below you can leave your trailer. We had a great week there and would go again

Well supplied kitchen with both coffee maker and grinder and a nespresso machine(no pods). House has Arlo csmerw that wasn’t listed anywhere in listing. Also the EV charger is probably 40-50 feet from the driveway. So not available for Tesla chargers unless you have an extra length cord.

Our FAVORITE spot in Chelan. Great Location, Perfectly appointed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Griswolds is our new FAVORITE place to stay in Chelan! Our family of 5 had the most relaxing, comfortable stay and couldn't have asked for a better location. We loved having the pool, Shuttle Stop #1 and Vin du Lac Winery just a few short steps away. Yet the front porch was always a quiet and peaceful spot to sit and relax. The kids LOVED the bunk room and we really appreciated being able to choose the king bedroom on the main floor away from the kids or if our kids were much younger, we could have picked the king bed upstairs to be close to the kids. Our eldest loved hanging in the bunk room but then being able to sleep in the queen w/private bath. You could easily & comfortably have two families stay here OR just enjoy being able to spread out. The beds & pillows were all super comfy and the furnishings were high quality (we have stayed in vacation rentals before where we felt the dining chair may snap if we sat in it the wrong way) This home is beautifully furnished yet the theme of the home makes you feel able to sink into the chair and fully relax. The kitchen has great quality cutlery, appliances and dishes. I really enjoyed cooking our meals here and the Nespresso machine was a huge plus! Other details we appreciated: LOTS of fluffy pool & bathroom towels, pool floaties, first aid kit, outdoor shower and front porch hose, good storage space to stow away coolers & luggage, 3 private parking spots, smart TVs, cozy window seats & great books/magazines, board games....the details really were thought of throughout this home. We can’t wait to come back.

Family Reunion Vacation

It’s the first time I had all 3 of my sons and their families together since they’ve all had children. They are all under 8yrs, so the layout of bedrooms, bathrooms, and living spaces were perfect. We loved having the grassy area in the front where kids could play and also very close to the pool, which all the kids loved. The older boys loved joining the picklball at the other park as well as some of the adults in our group. The tram that circled the community was so convenient to hop on when we wanted to get down to the lake or just ride around for baby and kid entertainment. The kitchen was nice and big and centrally located for our nightly family dinners. We were close to town, but never really went there, since we had plenty to do staying put. It was a wonderful vacation and we look forward to doing it again next year... or for years to come! Thank you for offering such a wonderful place!

July 4th Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family really enjoyed our stay at The Griswolds. Upon walking in, everything is well maintained and clean. I appreciated Nespresso machine as that's what we use at home. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with the necessities needed during our stay. They had games in the dining room console as well as a cornhole and large outdoor connect four game that my kids enjoyed. This house ended up being bigger than what we needed but would easily house 2 families of 4 and grandparents/or another couple. The one thing to note about the bunk room is that it has a barn door and not a regular door so it's not very soundproof. The house looks just like what you see in the listing photos. Lastly, the location to the large, lower/vineyard pool is fantastic. There is also a shuttle stop right there at the pool so going to the lake/marina or hilltop pool was very straightforward. We would absolutely go back to this home.

The home is super clean, the beds luxuriously comfy, the kitchen is fun to cook in and very well equipped. Kids LOVE the proximity to the pool and the valet pick-up to the marina. I also love the private parking so we could easily load & unload. The furnishings & decor feel high-end yet incredibly relaxed and cozy. Our family of 5 could have easily had another family stay with us with a king bed on the main as well as upstairs, plus the bunk room and another queen. Guest Services texted us events for free wine tastings, giant slip & slide, movie night under the many gorgeous amenities to enjoy here. Highly recommend a stay at The Griswolds at The Lookout. Can't wait to come back!

We love that you don’t have to bring beach towels, chairs and umbrellas they are all provided. We have stayed at some great houses, this one by far was my favorite. Loved sitting on the front porch watching all the kids play in the grass. Close to the pool and pick up station for the beach. So convenient to walk to town.

The house had everything we needed and so much more you would normally get at a rental house. The Lookout is beautiful but the pool heater was broken and we received no warning of this till the day of check in. Unfortunate, as that was a big reason we chose the Lookout.

Loved our stay at the Griswolds

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect getaway for our family. The house was well equipped to host ages 16-76! The hot tub and pool were a huge hit and only a short walk away. Echo Ridge Cross Country Ski trails and downhill areas were very close and accessible from the rental. We didn’t quite have all of the extra amenities in the winter but we loved our stay!
