Welcome to Black Bear Cabin, a charming barn-style retreat with wrap around decks! Nestled on 20 acres of breathtaking land, this cozy getaway invites you to explore towering 60ft rock walls, lush treed hills, and two sparkling creeks that converge at the heart of the property. Unwind on the decks, soak in the hot tub, or gather around the fire pit with plenty of seating for s’mores and storytelling under the stars.

Perfect for groups, the cabin comfortably sleeps 9. The airy loft offers space for 5 with two double beds and one twin bed. The main floor features a king bedroom for 2, while the walk-out basement includes a queen bedroom for 2. Each level boasts a full bathroom with a shower for your convenience.

The heart of the cabin is the two-story great room on the main floor, where plush seating and a large TV create a warm, inviting space to relax. Steps away, the well-equipped kitchen and dining area await, with a large table for 7 and 4 bar chairs at the peninsula. The chef in your group will adore the 4x3 window above the sink, offering stunning views of the woods or a glimpse of the kids playing on the deck.

A great cabin with lots of extras. Friendly, helpful hosts on top of it all. Coffee on the deck in the morning then wine and a fire in the huge fire pit in the evening. A great experience all around!

We highly recommend your family stay at Black Bear Cabin. It was great, everything was clean and nice. The kids loved the hot tub especially on a chilly night, and the host was highly responsive and helpful.

We had a getaway with our friends and the property was absolutely beautiful and perfect for us. Outside of the beds being a bit more on the firm side, we enjoyed our stay very much and would stay again. In fact, my husband loved it so much he wished it was ours lol. The owner was easy to reach and communicated with us perfectly. We highly recommend this property.

Had a great 1 night stay at this cabin. Group of 6 adults it was nice for each couple to have their own bathroom - even being up in the loft still felt private from the other rooms. Kitchen was well equipped! plenty of linens and everything was very clean! would definitely recommend for anyone traveling around Hocking Hills

We are so appreciative of an amazing cabin in the woods! The hosts were very communicative and kind. My VRBO app was not super reliable so they were patient with my delayed responses. The home is so clean, beautiful and open. We were only a group of 4 adults so we had more room than we needed. Beds were not comfortable and make a horrible creeking sounds every time you move. Makes it hard to sleep. A few minor things that I brought to the hosts attention but overall, I would stay here again. They even had a lot of things handy that many do not.. Coffee, Toilet paper back up, shampoos, soap, extra garbage bags, dish soap, etc. blankets by the couches was a lovely touch! Not handicap accessible and if you struggle with stairs. Thank you again!

Come enjoy the Hocking Hills Area on this 20 Acre retreat that has rolling hills, hiking paths, 60ft rock wall and streams. Black Bear can host 8 guests and has a stocked kitchen, pool table and hot tub. There are 3 finished levels with a full bath on each for convenience.
We are close to all the attractions in Hocking Hills.
