Beautiful country house with panoramic views

These guests have been happy about the villa, despite it was hot, and there were some mosquitos, what you can expect in August. I also allowed them to stay late until 4 pm, on the day of departure. Unfortunately, the communication was not easy. Although, we agreed in the beginning that we communicate in English, as I am German and my French is only little, they took very long to answer, and kept on writing me in French, which was quite inconvenient for me, and apparently they know English. In the end, I reminded them to please write in English, what produced an answer, that they could expect me to do so for all the rent I take, and obviously made them downrate the experience in the house. Quite a pity. Diese Gäste waren sehr zufrieden im Haus, abgesehen von Hitze und Mosquitos im August, was man in Griechenland auf dem Land erwarten kann. Sie hatten auch die Möglichkeit am Tag der Abreise bis 16 Uhr zu bleiben. Leider gestaltete sich die Kommunikation schwierig. Wir verständigten uns am Anfang darauf auf Englisch zu kommunizieren, da ich deutsch bin und mein Französisch nicht gut ist. Dennoch kontaktierten sie mich immer wieder auf Französisch, zum Teil mit langen Nachrichten, antworteten aber selbst nur sehr verspätet auf meine Nachrichten. Als ich sie am Ende etwas genervt darauf hingewiesen habe, dass es kaum nachvollziehbar ist, dass sie weiterhin Französisch schreiben, bekam ich eine Antwort, dass man es wohl von mir erwarten könne, den google translator zu benutzen, für all die Miete die sie zahlen... Offenbar hat auch das zu einer schlechten Bewertung hier geführt. Schade

Liebe Silvia, vielen Dank, Ihr wart tolle Gäste! Wir hatten einmal ein Mückennetz über den Betten, eventuell bringe ich es wieder an. Manche haben sehr mit den Tieren zu tun, manche gar nicht :-)

Dear Rob, you arrived in a season when you might need to turn the oil heating on. This is described in the documents I send you. When I asked you, if you need help with it, you said everything is fine. So it is a bit surprising to find this comment here, your temperature problems could have been easily solved... you just need to ask

Dear Kees, thank you for your Feedback. We have new light in the kitchen now. There are sunbeds in the building next to the house. I am sorry that you did not find them, although we wrote about it in the information sheet and you had a key to it. It is a traditional landhouse with traditional stone tiles in a wild garden, and a fan, but no aircon as described. It is a pity to find negative comments about things that were obvious before or could have been clarified if you contacted me (e.g. about the sunbeds). Best, Yvonne
