About this property

Our house is located on the island of Zakynthos between Mikro Nisi and Ano Volimes 230 m above sea level. The house has more than 100 square meters of living space, two bedrooms, a dressing room, a bathroom, a large living room and a large kitchen. An additional toilet is located in the workshop. The house is tiled and simple, but very tastefully decorated. The kitchen has an oven, hob, fridge with freezer and numerous kitchen utensils. In the bathroom there is a washing machine that can be used. The house is equipped with Wi-Fi and music system. Bed linen and towels are provided.
Our country house is located on a 2000 sqm plot with olive and almond trees, from which you can enjoy a wonderful sea view, and enjoy absolute peace and nature.

Zakynthos is considered a green pearl with impressive vegetation, the famous shipwreck beach and the breeding grounds of the Caretta sea turtle

The country house is located in the north of the island, far from mass tourism in the Mikro Nisi area. The nearest beach is 7 minutes away by car. Also nearby are the traditional handicraft village of Ano Volimes, the port village of Agios Nikolaos and the Makris Giaolos beach. The long beach in Alykes (20 minutes by car) is ideal for children and offers a variety of water sports. Horse riding is available in Alykanas (20 minutes by car). The animal park in Askos (10 minutes by car) is home to many animals.
In the south of the island are the breeding grounds of the Caretta sea turtles.
Basic groceries can be bought from the neighbors, good taverns and small supermarkets are in the neighboring villages.

What wonderful sunrises

Clearly a family home but do inviting. Yvonne is a lovely host. Very secluded (if you like an even tan!). Only 50 mins walk down tracks from a lovely (pebbled) beach. Sunrise and sunset only mean travelling a few miles in a aday.

Bon séjour dans l ensemble

La maison est très belle , bien équipée, avec une jolie vue. Le voisin vend de l eau et fruits et légumes dans sa maison et le bruit de la cloche des moutons est très sympa le soir, pas de touristes ici! Ce que nous cherchions. Tout comme noté dans certains commentaires il y a beaucoup de moustiques malgré spirales, spray et prises. Nous ne nous attendions pas à autant même si c est bien sûr le risque à la campagne. Nous n avons pas pu manger dehors et nous nous sommes fait dévorer dedans, les ventilateurs aident à les chasser. Il fait très chaud dans la maison , cela mériterait peut être la pose d une Clim au moins dans la chambre pour du confort car cela reste compliqué de se reposer, en tout cas en août . La maison est sans doute plus confortable à une autre période car elle est vraiment superbe .

Charmante maison en pleine nature

Nous avons passé un bon moment dans cette charmante demeure au milieu de la nature, dans les hauteurs de Zante, loin de la foule. La vue est splendide, dans la nature, entourés d'oliviers et au loin on a une vue sur la mer. La propriétaire est joignable et nous a tout bien indiqué pour venir au gîte, elle a répondu rapidement à notre demande de ventilateurs supplémentaires pour les chambres. Merci ! A savoir : Il y a beaucoup de moustiques sur le site, ce qui nous gênait pour dîner dehors le soir, nous dînions donc dans la grande cuisine confortable, pour dormir, il y a des voiles moustiquaires de lit. Une voiture est indispensable pour se rendre au gîte et visiter l'ile. Conclusion : une belle adresse, propriétaires bienveillants et réactifs à nos demandes.

Ruhe & Frieden

Es war sehr erholsam mitten in der Natur ohne Lärm - ausser den Mücken, die es auf dem Land nun einmal hat. Trotz allen Mückensprays / Stecker etc. wurden wir doch arg erwischt. Mein Vorschlag wäre, über den Betten ein Mückennetz-Zelt zu installieren. Ansonsten ist dieses Landhaus absolut zu empfehlen. Yvonne war stets via WA zu erreichen und vor Ort war ebenfalls jemand da für uns da. Unser Fazit, wer Ruhe sucht und echtes Griechisches Landleben ohne Touristen Trubel ist in diesem Haus gut aufgehoben. Notwendig ist allerdings ein Mietwagen o.ä.
