The house was very clean and being on the lake is beautiful. The rooms are on the smaller side, but the location makes it worth it - on the water and close to the village, but on the quieter side of the lake so it’s very peaceful while still being close to the action if desired.

The house was exceptional. It as extremely clean and the perfect location. It is a beautiful property and the lake is unbelievable. We had the perfect view of the steam engines and the fireworks. The host was kind and gracious with any questions we had.

We have stayed in LGNorth, LGSilverBay & now in the LGSouth area. THIS LOCATION in LGSouth is THE MOST CONVENIENT! Fireworks/ boat fuel/ restaurants/ PuttPutt/ market/ 40 minutes drive time to Saratoga racetrack/ 20 minutes to drive to The Sagamore&Bolton Landing. If you rent a boat, there is a Public boat ramp @ Bolton to walk and have breakfast at The Shack! Dock and outdoor space were beautiful and perfect for floating in the water just outside the patio. House was great and the patio level rec room was perfect for gaming and tv.

Beautiful, cozy, and surprisingly spacious!We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house! It manages to be both stunning and incredibly cozy at the same time. Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived. A huge bonus was the lower floor—it had a lot more space than we expected, which was perfect for our group. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect house on Lake George

I came up here for a fishing trip with my family, including kids three years old and up. Being on the water is still safe and easier to manage than I thought, even with young ones who can't swim. The house is gorgeous and set up to entertain. There are small fish all around the shore and boathouse, keeping the kids entertained with fishing. There is plenty of parking. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and there is a grill available. The location is the best part, being close to downtown and all the restaurants. I would highly recommend this place.

We had an outstanding wkd at French Mountain Cove! What a wonderful place, right on the water w/ an outstanding view. The patio & dock provided great opportunities for hanging out, happy hour, dinner & taking amazing pix. We will definitely come back again. The host was always reachable, replying quickly to all messages. The reservation/contract/payment process was simple and flowed easily. The home is located in the SE corner of the lake, only a few miles from town…perfect! The home was very clean throughout, w/ clean towels waiting for us in our rooms. The kitchen had everything you needed. On the ground floor, there’s a lg family room w/ TV, kitchenette & double-door access to the large patio. This felt like a huge bonus room bc there’s already a sizable family room/kitchen on the 1st flr. My only slightly negative comment is regarding the check-in process. In the rental documents, the host originally stated that an email would be sent to me the Tues before the rental began (w/ entry code & WIFI info). On Thurs, still no email, so I reached out and inquired about it. Their reply was that it would be sent on the check-in day at 4pm (which is check-in time). Not a huge deal…BUT…this is where I began to wonder if was a bonafide rental! So, it would make sense for the host to have continuity in their docs and make sure they all reflect the correct timeline. Aside from that, everything was terrific!

French Mountain Cove, Lake George Northern Living did a fantastic job! Communication & response time to q’s/issues was top notch!! Home was very clean/tidy throughout. Kitchen was well-stocked w/ all sorts of amenities. Coffee bar was a big hit! Million dollar view, inside & outside! So enjoyable hanging out on the lakefront patio for everything (w/ enough chairs for everyone): morning coffee, breakfast, swimming (tons of beach towels are provided), kayaking, tanning, reading, happy hour, dinner, s’mores or just watching the boats go by. A short 2-3 mile drive into the village area for ice cream, restaurants, shops & activities (tiki boat tour, pontoon boat tour, etc)Some things that would be helpful: *add’l hanging space *1-2 add’l umbrellas on the patio *allowing 1-2 add’l cars in the driveway (max is 3)We had an amazing extended family vacation…will def be back!
