This well-maintained older house is a real Danish vacation home in the truest sense of the word. It is situated on a wonderfully sheltered plot, surrounded by trees, so you can spend time undisturbed in the garden and on the terrace.

Here you stay in a quiet cottage area not far from Skive, a cozy town with stores and restaurants.

You can also visit the art museum or one of the small galleries in Skive. Here you will also find many interesting manors, the castle of Spøttrup, the lime pits and a charming pretty nature, which invites you especially for an active vacation.

A nice place in a fairly remote location.

A nice place in a fairly remote location. Not too far from the fjord. We were there in December, it was very cold and took a long time for the place to heat up, and keep warm. There is heating available but the consumption is not included in the price. Neither are the sheets, bedding and towels. So this is additional to the base cost. I think it would have benefitted from a 'welcome pack'... Just a basic 4 or so dishwasher tablets, washing tablets, bag of logs, fire starters, things like this to get you started. So think about taking them with you. I can imagine it being lovely in the summer, very popular and probably some good walks around.Skive is an easy 12 min drive for main shops, but also som smaller shops for the basics a little closer.I wouldn't say it was the cleanest place I have stayed, but once it was warm it was very welcoming. If you do go in winter, the roads leading to the place will be difficult if it is icy or snowy.Overall I would come again.
