Pet friendly home in Sjællands Odde

A lovely vacation home in the second row, with a view of the water from the property. From here it is also not far to the water, so every morning for a refreshing swim you can just put a towel over your arm and go. There is an outdoor shower and a place to clean fish, and the property is fenced. In the house you can expect a nice, partially open kitchen at the dining and living room with fireplace, a full three bedrooms and a bathroom. From the living room you step out onto the slightly lower, open terrace. Sjællands Odde is an exciting nature area with possibilities for many experiences.

The ice age landscape of Odsherred is unique and formative for today's Odsherred. That is why Odsherred is a Geopark. Walk around the burial mounds and experience the Ice Age landscape, dolmens from the Stone Age and burial mounds from the Bronze Age. Visit the Hempel Glass Museum, Odsherred Museum with a copy of the sun chariot found at Trundholm Mose, Næsholm Castle on a small island in Lake Nygård between Højby and Nykøbing Sj. and the Nature School with many activities around the sea, expeditions into the forest, butterfly safari and troll and fox tours. Children can also enjoy the many fire engines at the Odsherred Brandmuseum, or go on a seal safari from Rørvig harbor. The area is a paradise for fishermen, but it is also not far to Havnebyen, the only real fishing harbor in Odsherred, where you can buy freshly caught and freshly smoked fish. It's just under half an hour's drive to Sommerland Sjælland, with plenty of entertainment for children and young-at-heart souls. At the far end of Sjællands Odde, Gniben, you can fish and walk along the beach around the headland. You can also visit the site of the army artillery school.
