This two bedroom one bathroom 752 sq ft 1940’s Potlatch cottage has been completely renovated and is ready for you to enjoy! The story goes that this little cottage was transported years and years ago from Potlatch to Hoodsport by Tacoma Power.
The quaint town of Hoodsport is within walking distance, as well as the Port of Hoodsport. Lake Cushman is a short drive up the hill and Potlatch State Park is minutes away. This cottage is a perfect location for exploring Hoodsport shops (Icecream, Hoodsport coffee, Distillery, Wine tasting, beer tasting) and activities. Or head up to Lake Cushman! Want to hike Staircase Rapids Loop? Or, if a cozy retreat suites you better, this is your place! Grab a blanket, snuggle in and relax! We love to cook so the kitchen is fully stocked for your convenience. No need to bring toiletries, we’ve got that covered, except for toothpaste! We offer a queen bed, and a full bed in each bedroom and an armchair that folds out into bed (great for the smaller people!). Come see what Hoodsport has for you!

The Cozy Cottage - An Oasis of Beauty and Calm

Great little house conveniently located

Had a great weekend with my family at this house. It has a well appointed kitchen with everything we needed for making delicious meals. It was clean and comfortable. The smart lock to get in is a little confusing at first. Just remember to tap the screen, press the two numbers that appear, then once the full key pad appears enter your code. Technology sometimes :) Be sure to check out nearby Lake Cushman and the Olympic National Park neaby. It's only 30 minutes to the park from this house and is worth a visit if you love big trees and clear beautiful rivers!

Perfect Location

The cottage was incredibly well appointed in terms of amenities. Clean and roomy-great kitchen and bathroom. The outside front deck-room for 2 was very pleasant. We would stay there anytime! Very convenient to town and canal-only a block!

Guys fishing trip

This is our second year in a row renting this place for our annual guys getaway. It’s a great location and it’s clean and has everything that we need for the weekend. We will keep coming back!

Hello! We have lived in Washington all of our lives and love the beauty the outdoors provides us here. We are from the Bonney Lake area and sometimes just like to get away from the hustle and bustle--yes, Bonney Lake used to be that place, however, not anymore!

Why they chose this property

We LOVE staying at VRBO's and decided to make one of our own! We have stayed several times in this area over the years and kept looking for properties to come on the market! Then one day, here she was!! This was supposed to be a quick cosmetic remodel and then turned into a complete overhaul. Yikes!! A year later, we are excited to get it on the market and hope you love it as much as we do. Our family loves to host and wants to make a difference in our Guest's experience! We hope you enjoy your stay and come back and visit!

What makes this property unique

We are avid boaters and LOVE this area! We love that you can walk to town, grab a coffee, or drive a short way up the hill to Lake Cushman or hike the Staircase Loop! Sitting out on the back deck, you hear the birds chirping while you are surrounded by nature. You may see our resident eagle fly over, or the deer coming off the hillside to grab apples from our apple tree. Open up the front storm door to listen to the North Finch Creek --it is RIGHT across the street! The opportunities are endless at this property! Explore Hoodsport shops, ice cream, brewery, distillery, wine tasting, or go scuba diving! It's up to you and most of it is within walking distance!
