The 3 1/2 room flat is situated at 850 metres above sea level with a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains in the almost fog-free Aegeri valley! Very quiet location, access is via a private road that ends at the house. The flat is cosily furnished and offers ideal space for 5 people. The excellently equipped living/dining kitchen has a ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, toaster, egg cooker, kettle and capsule coffee machine and a cosy corner bench with pull-out table for up to 6 people. Crockery for 12 people available. It has two bedrooms (one bedroom with two single beds (90x200) and one bedroom with four beds (one bed with pull-out bed) and a bunk bed (all 90x200). There is a large wardrobe in each room. The living room is generously equipped with flat screen TV, Internet, satellite TV and DVD player, as well as numerous board games and DVD's (DVD's on request) are available. There is also a cosy couch. The bathroom is very bright, has a WC and a bathtub with shower facilities. A washing machine and tumble dryer are available for shared use in the basement. Lake Aegeri and the valley are a paradise for families with children, active holidaymakers, hikers and those seeking peace and quiet. Hiking trails lead directly from the farm and are well developed.
House and outside area: You live in a traditional, typical Zug farmhouse. It was built in 1790, but could be older and has been remodelled and extended at regular intervals. The farmhouse is located just outside the village centre in an elevated position. The flat has an uncovered car parking space. Two seating areas offer the most beautiful views of the lake and the mountains, where you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets with a glass of wine and round off the day. A barbecue and wood as well as deckchairs, garden furniture and parasols are available. In summer (petting zoo) as well as in winter very suitable for families with small and older children (farm)! Great playground with play tower, sandpit and large trampoline. Together with me live 5 dwarf goats, 4 chickens, a silky goat with his wife, a dwarf goat with his wife and 4 cats on my farm. There are cows and calves in the barn. Small animals can be petted and fed and visits to the stable are possible. Let me surprise you!
Surroundings: Despite the rural location, you can reach the village in a few minutes by car and the city of Zug in 20 minutes, Lucerne in 40 minutes and Zurich in an hour. There are also very good restaurants and pizzerias in Ober- and Unterägeri. Wonderful summer and winter hiking area. The Raten and Nollen ski areas are very suitable for families. Inexpensive day tickets, two children's ski lifts, play park, revolving carousel and catering kiosk with seating. Hiking and skiing areas such as Nollen, Raten are 10 minutes away and Hochstuckli, Stoos (new mountain railway opened in 2017), Rigi, Hochybrig etc. are easily accessible by car and public transport in approx. 20 to 30 minutes. Cross-country ski runs, snowshoe hiking trails and toboggan runs are available in the Ägerital.
New: Indoor swimming pool with SPA area (Oberägeri) and lidos in the immediate vicinity. Many sporting activities such as Nordic walking, biking, sailing, windsurfing, inline skating, hiking, water skiing, minigolf and much more! Various farm products are available!

Child-friendliness: two baby bouncers, a cot and a travel cot available on request. Small playground on the farm, as well as larger playgrounds in the villages of Oberägeri and Unterägeri.

Location description: Oberägeri is a small village of just under 5775 souls with a very beautiful lake. It lies at 737 metres above sea level, is very mild and almost fog-free. There is still a lot of agriculture. In short: it is the most beautiful spot on earth! In summer there is a farmers' market in the village every Saturday morning from 9.00 to 11.00 a.m., where the farmers sell their farm produce. Other shopping facilities are the "Leuemärt" with Coop, bakery and a butcher's shop across the road. In Unterägeri there is a Migros supermarket, the Coop centre with chemist, pharmacy, Raiffeisenbank, organic food shop, flower shop, hairdresser, cheese dairy, etc.
