Beautiful and cozy home, very clean and owner is helpful even when I had trouble with the app. The backyard is spacious and shady for our pups. It was dry out when we went but if it were wet then it would get muddy as it’s mostly dirt, but it’s pretty. Listing said washer/dryer that we didn’t see, wasn’t an issue for us as we didn’t need that, just FYI. Would definitely stay again. Great neighborhood.
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Nice location, not far off freeway - so a quick drive to Flagstaff. Quiet woodsy neighborhood. Liked the private fenced in back yard. Bed & couches were comfortable. Nice size space. Would stay again.
My husband and I and enjoyed our stay at this private, quiet location. It was clean and comfortable with a large fenced backyard. We enjoyed being able to pull up to the front door - it made unpacking and packing the car so much easier than a hotel stay!

Home needs to be cleaned. Cobwebs in corners, serious dust on both kitchen window sills, shower tile dirty.
Property location was perfect for my show dog and I. It was quiet, private and comfortable. The "application process" caught me off guard, since I have never had to submit one like that before. Also, had to call to receive check-in details to be emailed to me. Otherwise, recommend property snd would stay again.
This property is right by Pumphouse Trail, a series of pathways that take you into a beautiful protected area of the forest. Cabin is set up with everything you need, it was a very comfortable place to stay. Will definitely book again.
Nice place, Comfy King Size bed. Cozy couches. Safe Fenced in Backyard for Doggos. Good spot to hold up for a few days and explore the area. Just south of Downtown Flagg by 5ish miles.
Great location, directly across national forest. Quaint house.
When you enter the house it appears a bit dark. There are sufficient lights but not a lot daylight.
Was decorated so cute. Perfect amount of space for the two of us and our dogs. Loved that it has a backyard, only con is that it is like a shared backyard, we didn’t even see the other dog at all so no issues. Loved the neighborhood. Perfect space for our weekend in Flagstaff.
This was a nice little set up for the dogs and I. There were a few spiders that can easily be explained because of the location but I would get it sprayed a few more times. And the converted garage was a bit drafty, but you can tell it was at least cleaned. The yard space was perfect for the pups. It was a little far out from town, but we managed.
great spot for a short get away. So close to trails to hike in the forest. We took a different route each day! Good central location for going to the Grand Canyon, Walnut Canyon and the lakes (dry lake beds) area! Not that far to get into Flagstaff, if you are into city life. Quiet area...never saw Stetson, the Golden next door! Thank you for this spot.
Since this was our first experience renting a VRBO home, we had some things to learn. The only issue we had in the little house in Kachina Village was the television. Customer service was awesome and brought us over an antenna and offered to install it. I do believe having an antenna connection would be very helpful, as it takes a little while to put on your own profile and the apps that you use at home. The other thing that would be really nice is a closet.
This was a last minute booking for us to get away from the Scottsdale heat. It was fine for our family of three and two pups. It was 1/2 way between Munds Park and Flagstaff which was convenient for us since we hiked in Flagstaff and we were able to visit friends in Munds Park. The beds are comfortable, furniture nice and kitchen has almost everything you need to cook a light meal.
It was nice being able to walk across the street to the National Forest and take a walk with the dogs. There were other homeowners with their dogs in the National Forest and they were all off lease which was nice. We like to be able to have our dogs run if it's safe and it doesn't bother other people.
The only downside for us was the backyard. It was fenced in which was great but it was unfinished, mostly dirt and no outdoor patio furniture. It would have been nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the cooler weather.
This little place was very nice and practical fir our needs. There was open communication with the management which made it easier. Our needs were met and I would definitely stay there again.

Why they chose this property
We love this property because it's roomy enough to get a little privacy and small enough to accommodate a budget. The neighborhood is quiet, dog friendly, caters to the night sky without street lights, and this home has a rustic, forest charm about it.
