The North Sea and the unique Uplewarder dry beach are only about 1500 metres away, shopping facilities are available in Pewsum, about 4 km away.The Gulfhof:The barn wing of this stately Gulfhof "Uplewarder Grashaus" was originally built in 1803 and was completely renovated in 2008 and rebuilt as far as possible true to the original. The "Campen" holiday flat was completed in 2011 and the gulf, i.e. the central part of the barn with its imposing timber frame, was converted into a large village square with a gallery above. This village square, as well as the adjoining facilities such as the children's playroom, table football or dog shower/washing area are available to you free of charge.You can reach the "Campen" holiday flat at ground level via the village square in the middle section of the barn.The holiday flat:The "Campen" holiday flat on the ground floor of the renovated farm has been integrated into the ambience of the old Gulf barn. The comfortable and cosily furnished, barrier-free holiday flat is approximately 85 m2 in size plus a 25 m2 terrace. The flat is also suitable for wheelchair users thanks to the extra-wide doors.When you enter the flat, you will find yourself in the spacious living/dining area, which is laid with modern and large-format tiles and - like the bathroom - has underfloor heating.The living area is equipped with a dining area with six chairs, a kitchenette, two leather sofas, a flat screen TV and a music system. In the kitchen area you will find an oven, ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, a large dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and egg cooker.From the living area you have direct access to the other rooms.The spacious bedroom is furnished with a double bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.The second bedroom is furnished with three single beds, which are also suitable for adults.The large bathroom has a toilet, washbasin and bathtub as well as a large walk-in shower.25 m2 terrace with five garden chairs, a large table, a sun lounger and a barbecue are available for you to spend pleasant hours outdoors.outdoor area:In addition to your own terrace, large parts of the 12,000 m2 farm property with its orchards and green areas are available for free use in the centre of the former barn next to the village square.
