About this property
4 apartment on former Farm 'Lindenhof-Bergenhausen', vacation with dog
We offer 4 apartments on the Lindenhof Bergenhausen for 2-7 people each:

The granary ...
... the name is no coincidence, because the top floor of the Lindenhof in which this holiday apartment is located was originally the storage for the harvested grain, that is, the "grain store" of the farmers who lived there for generations.
Until 2001, the former granary of the Lindenhof was only used as a normal storage room. Then this part of the Lindenhof was made usable again: almost everything that was above the ceiling of the upper floor was torn down and completely rebuilt.
When building the old granary again, we were careful to use as many historical building materials as possible and to give the living spaces a very special charm. So we were very lucky to find the very large living-dining room and two bedrooms old, fired clay tiles that actually once were in a granary around 200 years ago. In the kitchen and in the third bedroom, solid oak ship parquet was installed, which also comes from a dismantling.
The granary is the largest apartment in the Lindenhof and can be reached via an external staircase. It has a floor area of approx. 120 m² and is located in the attic. There are sloping ceilings in all rooms, but the rooms are almost completely usable due to the high knee and the two large dormer windows.
In the three bedrooms of the granary, 7 people find enough space to sleep. The two large bedrooms are each equipped with a very nice double bed (180 x 200 cm). There is also a single bed in one of the two bedrooms. One of these bedrooms is equipped with a large dormer and floor-to-ceiling windows, so that you can enjoy a very nice view of the surrounding meadows and forests from your bed.
However, “stargazers” should rather choose the other large bedroom, because here the bed is located directly under a 140 cm skylight with a clear view of the sky.
The small bedroom has two single beds built around a corner with the dimensions 90 x 200cm and 100x200 cm. The bedrooms are completed by antique wardrobes or an antique chest of drawers.
With an occupancy of more than 7 people, the couch could be used for sleeping or an additional guest bed could be set up.
With its approx. 45 m², the living-dining area offers space for a large, rustic dining table (100 x 200 cm), where up to 8 people can be seated, as well as for a very spacious living area that you can use e.g. B. for cozy TV evenings with the large flat TV or long winter evenings in front of the large fireplace.
The kitchen is also very spacious with its approx. 25 m² and comfortably designed with the very individually manufactured cupboards. Here you will find everything you need for cooking and baking on the 90 cm wide electric cooker with induction hob.
The granary is completed by the bathroom with shower, toilet and vanity, which is tiled with beautiful antique marble.
There is a barbecue in the garden for shared use.
