Host couldn't have been better. So accommodating! Property has so much. Multiple fire pits, grills, picnic areas. Interior very well equipped. Beautiful kitchen so well fitted. Wi-Fi connection was more than adequate for my needs. And I can be demanding about that. Hideout use depends on your goals. Two beaches, two pools. Nine hole golf course for a reasonable rate. Clubhouse has fitness center with two rooms of resistance equipment and cardio. But chalet perfectly located if you like to stay in shape. About a one mile walk to the fitness center and return around the golf course another mile. Great to do cardio and view the unique and beautiful properties in The Hideout. I hope to be back.

We had the absolute best time! The thoughtful “little” things that are available especially for a 3 night stay made our lives incredibly easy and Loreen is easy to reach and beyond accommodating! Will return!

The house was perfectly clean when we arrived, Loreen is a great communicator and makes sure you have everything - and I mean everything! - in the house (firewood, starters, spices, pots/pans, so many coffee makers, blankets, towels, etc). It was a true vacation stay! Would 110% return and recommend - and can’t wait to!

Family Gathering in The Hideout

From the beginning to the end of the stay, the process was seemless. My family stayed in the property close to our home and loved every minute of it. The owner made sure to make everyone comfortable and even came earlier prior to my family arriving to turn the heat up for their comfort. Highly suggest this for anybody to stay in The Hideout.

Chalet Perfection

The Chalet was such an amazing place to stay. It was a hidden jam in the middle of the Poconos, and I felt like I was transported to another country. Just three hours from home and I felt so at peace. Anything and everything you want was in the chalet. We didn’t have to leave for anything. It was the perfect vacation. And Loreen is the best host. I had a few questions and she answered almost instantly.! I can’t wait to stay here again

All rentals should be this good

From initial booking Laureen was in contact inquiring about the group. She noted all safety measures as we have 3 young children. She even purchased a gate to keep the kids from hurting themselves on her fireplace which we were happy to bring ourselves but she was so accommodating. The house is great we adults were very comfortable and kids were entertained the whole time. Played some golf, went to beach at lake really took advantage of all amenities. There was a minor hiccup with one of the tv’s and she was responsive and helpful. She really made us feel at home! Absolute best vacation with young kids and amazing host!
