What a magical experience. This farm was everything we didn’t know we needed. Sitting out on the back porch watching the animals do their thing with the smell of fresh mint wafting in the air was so calming. Jessica was so quick to answer my texts, going above and beyond to ensure we had what we needed. The house was clean and updated. My only suggestion would be to clean up the swallow poop outside the front door and wash the inside of the living room windows. That being said I do understand this is a working farm and poop happens. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back.
Fantastic property. Loved the animals and the scenery. Great hosts, and the pup, cat, and rabbits kept us company!!!I would stay here any day, any time.
We had a great time at the property. We rented both houses on the farm, so we had plenty of room for the family. Even though we live on property with animals, everyone had a great time seeing the animals that live on the farm.
This was an amazing experience! The house is nicely done and very clean. We really enjoyed being able to interact with the animals on the farm and watching the sunrise from the deck. We would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy peace on a farm.
Outstanding property and exactly what we needed. My sister and I stayed here while we were competing in the Ironman 70.3 in Salem.
So clean and convenient, We loved the cedar hot tub and sitting and sipping coffee listening to the sounds of the outdoors in the morning.
One thing to note, the road to the property is a dirt road and it made for a very dirty car.
This was a delightful place to stay. The location is extremely convenient for a visit to wine country. The house is lovely and comfortable. The kitchen was pretty and well equipped. The animals were a fun addition. The only thing I would suggest is that an outdoor grill would be a nice addition. I would definitely book again.
Very nice property. Need a bit more cooking pots & pans. A microwave would be nice to have. Beds were comfortable. Sliding patio door should have blinds/curtains for heat reduction, as well as the kitchen window on the same wall.
The place is very beautiful! We were so relaxed! Kitchen: fresh farm eggs. Cutest popcorn marker. Coffee/ keurig machine. Great kitchen to make meals in. Bedrooms are very cozy, blankets, pillows and bed able to drift off to sleep with comfort. Bathroom very beautiful: well designed. Plenty of towels. The farm animals gave us enjoyment. To watch a calf leap, play and run was the cutest. Learning about Longhorn cattle was so fun and interesting and how amazing smart they can be. The farm dog loves to take care of the baby chicks. To watch him circle around to make sure the chicks are fine and very cute.our host was quick to respond to any questions we had. When it was time to leave, it was hard to say goodbye to the animals, the place and the peacefulness of the property. We already booked for next year. I used to escape to the coast, but find that I love the farm life so much better! Thankyou Jessica for being a wonderful host!
It's a farm, with a huge barn and pastures and fields and tons of farm animals . . . Highland cows, Longhorns, horses, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks farm cats and dog. You'd think it might be a bit smelly, but surprisingly, there was not a strong farm smell. The animals are well kept and friendly. And, the house was quaint outside and gorgeous inside. Open concept with a huge fireplace in the center. . . large open kitchen behind the fireplace and living room in front. Perfect for a small gathering. And totally updated with lots of perks like bottled water, a popcorn maker, Keurig coffee maker. And then there's a hot tub! And a large communal space with a firepit, multiple tables, and a BBQ. Unfortunately we couldn't have open flames due to the hot weather. But, with the 2 houses on site, it would be an awesome place for a gathering. We thoroughly enjoyed early morning coffee in the hot tub while it was still chilly out. The hosts, Jessica and her son, were super friendly and happy to answer questions either via message or while on sight tending to the animals. My friends and I all loved our stay!
This property is fantastic. We’ve now stayed here 3 times. The house is comfortable and well equipped. They’ve even added a grill, which was most appreciated. And the farm animals make the experience.
Our experience over a week at this wonderful farm cottage was excellent. It was everything they described and more. Decorated so inviting and everything you needed! We loved having a crackling fire, and seeing the farm animals! The beds were super comfy! Communication was great! Would recommend this to any ages, and we will plan on using it for company in the future!!!!
The 3 of us signed up for the Joyride in Independence, this property was a very short ride away from the start of the ride.
This property is better than the pictures! Well appointed, everything we needed was there. We took a tour of the farm with Dante, he was very excited to share his farm experience with us and his love for the animals was evident. The property manager Jessica was prompt to our questions we had. Highly recommend this place.
This place was perfect for our family to relax and spend time together. The hot tub was great and we had fun saying hello to the animals. We would love to stay here again.
