Stunning lake house with private dock

This two-story nearly 2000-square-foot lake house is perfect for a vacation getaway. With two bedrooms and a sleeping loft this home comfortably sleeps 8. Wake up to breathtaking views from the deck and dip your toes in the lake off the private dock.
Downstairs, is an open living/dining area that extends outside onto the covered deck which overlooks Wallowa Lake. The kitchen has a refrigerator, range, dishwasher and is fully stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans. Paper towels and dishwasher soap are provided, and there is a barbecue with propane, on the deck during summer/fall. There is one bedroom with a queen bed and full bathroom. Also included is a fully equipped laundry room with laundry detergent, an iron and board, towels and basic soaps are provided.
On the upper level the master bedroom has a king bed and a full bathroom. The loft one queen bed and two full beds.

There is parking for a maximum of 2 vehicles. The driveway is steep and not amenable to boats/trailers. There is no parking for boats or trailers on the property or on the county road above the house. There is no lake access for boats/trailers from the house. Boat/Trailer parking is available at both the north and south end of the lake at the Wallowa lake state park and Wallowa lake park. A boat can be tied to our private dock once in the lake.

The place is perfect. Really nice inside and out. The property manager is always available. The location was excellent. We brought our boat and tied it at the dock. There is also a super cute welcome kitty. Poppy. We enjoyed her visits.No doubt we will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for a great time.

The house was very clean and had everything needed. Only down side was that the propane was out for the BBQ and the beds were all very hard.

Beautifully clean home.

The house itself was perfect, but the view leaves a little to be desired. Just the water and a berm of dirt. Very few trees for being in a forest. Also, the driveway is very steep. The deck was nice and it was fun watching all the boats,

Clean and Spacious

Large deck overlooking the lake. Very comfortable upstairs king bedroom. En suite has roomy vanity with lots of storage, roomy shower and closet. Downstairs comfortable queen. Second bath also has a roomy vanity. Spacious kitchen, large laundry/pantry with room for storing all your supplies. More beds on the mezzanine. Sparkling clean. Great place to settle in and spend some time. Do mind the steep drive.

They thought of almost everything

Lovely stay in this clean, roomy house right on the lake. It's literally a dream come true for us. The only thing we wish would have been available was a griddle to make pancakes on. We got by with a frying pan. True to other reviews the driveway is SUPER steep. Got to get a running start at the bottom. Would not attempt without all wheel drive. The pic of the deck is misleading as it is twice as deep as it looks in pic. Loved our stay. Hope to be back again soon.

Family Lake Getaway

First of all, we were happy with our stay and would consider returning to the property in the future. The property was clean, which is the most important factor. The location is awesome, the dock was perfect for all the toys, and again, the property was very clean and the family thoroughly enjoyed our week together. That being said, the reason for the 4-star rating versus the 5-star rating is because there are some minor maintenance issues that need to be addressed. As in the listing, the driveway is in fact steep. What is not stated is that the driveway is shared with the neighbor, so if they are not parked correctly, you may have issues getting in or out. Overall, I would highly recommend this property for your stay.

Better than expected!

The home was in an absolutely gorgeous setting!! The pictures could not do the view justice! Deck was massive! Home was very clean and very comfortable. Very easy communication with the host! Accommodations were so nice! Chairs on the huge deck! Comfortable bedding and linens! Bring your own scissors, Saran Wrap, foil, ziplock bags as there are no disposables, condiments, coffee etc… the driveway is very steep! Would not bring vehicles that are small/ not all wheel drive. You may not be able to get out of the driveway. Also no broom to clean up any spills or sweep off deck. Overall wonderful place to stay!

Fantastic property!

We loved this place! It was very clean, comfortable beds, well stocked and the location was awesome! We spent a long weekend with our family & another family & enjoyed boating on the lake, hanging out on the large deck, bbqing and relaxing. The property owner was quick to communicate a possible power outage after a storm nearby. You can’t beat the location of this home and use of the private dock was perfect for us! The kids spent hours down by the water and it made it easy to access our paddleboards. Plenty of space for everyone in our group and it felt like home! We will be back in the future!

Wonderful summer

This place is incredible! House is perfect and location is great! We were so happy here we hated to leave! The view is amazing, great swimming right off the dock. Feels like you are far away but town, Tramway, marina all super close. Liz was super helpful as my daughter left her iPad. Friendly and helpful! Hope to return next summer and can’t say enough good things!

Lovely Lake House

This is a great house for multiple families with one bathroom upstairs and one downstairs. Bedding and beds were so comfy! It was extremely clean and well kept, owners were very responsive to needs. There is even a delightful neighbor cat that came to visit us. Only drawbacks: Driveway is VERY steep and dock hard to tie up to because there were no cleats to attach a rope to on the long side of the dock. Overall would stay again. It was a great trip.
