Lovely place! It was very clean and spacious for our family. Looks exactly like the photos. It was nice to come back to this home after a long day at the ballpark. Very relaxing. The host was so friendly and responded quickly to any questions I had. It was a plus to be able to bring our small pup with us! We will be back!

Kim was the perfect host and her home was just what we needed and more. We stayed 2.5 weeks and Kim was quick to respond, offer specific things she thought we might need as I was there for surgery and stayed for my recovery. She was so compassionate and helpful and sharing her home with us was a true blessing!

Beautiful place!!

Very comfortable, great location! Owner is a masseuse, highly recommend! If you’re a birdwatcher, this place is close to a huge number of fabulous birding locations. Would definitely visit again.

The house is well decorated and comfortable. Often however the air conditioning would rise to the high 70s without the windows open or the oven and stove being used (after a change of air filter it was better one time); the owner did receive estimates for a new unit while I was there for the month. The kitchen appliances are many yet the utensils, plates, and cups are an eclectic combination of various items and don’t make a consistent set. When leaving the garage, it wasn’t ideal to not have a garage door opener as we would close the garage door from the garage and then leave from the front door (the owner said an opener could be gotten which would make driving in and out of the garage less cumbersome). The house was dog friendly. We bought bath and pool towels for our use, perhaps we are more accustomed to thicker towels. The owner was very responsive and pleasant and the location fit my needs.

I’m glad you found the home comfortable and well decorated, and I appreciate your kind words about my responsiveness and hospitality. Regarding the air conditioning, I would like to clarify that the HVAC estimates obtained during your stay were for the planned replacement of the home's 20 year-old system and were not service calls prompted by cooling problems during your stay. Prior to my arriving to meet with the companies for those estimates, I had not been made aware of an ongoing cooling issue. At that time, you mentioned that the temperature had risen on one previous day and told me that after your husband changed the filter, the system began cooling properly again and that this was the only time it had occurred. I asked that you please let me know if you experienced any further cooling issues so I could address them, and I did not receive any additional reports during the remainder of your stay. I also appreciate the feedback regarding the kitchenware and towels. The kitchen is intentionally well stocked with a variety of dishes, glasses, cookware and utensils rather than matching sets, but I understand that some guests may prefer a more uniform presentation. Likewise, plenty of bath and pool towels are provided, though towel thickness and preference can certainly vary from guest to guest. Regarding the garage door opener, I had previously stopped providing remotes after having to replace them multiple times when they were inadvertently taken by departing guests. When you asked about one, I explained this and offered to purchase and program a remote for you during your stay. You graciously declined and said that you had a workaround and did not need one. I genuinely appreciated having you as my guest for the month and enjoyed our communications throughout your stay. Guest comfort is extremely important to me, and whenever I’m made aware of an issue, I do my best to address it as quickly as possible. I appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best in your future travels.

The home is beautiful and peaceful, as is the neighborhood. This was our second time staying at Kim’s home and it will be our go-to when visiting family in Daphne. It really does feel like a spa. Kim is extremely thoughtful and easy to work with.

Conveniently located to restaurants around area. We liked its location because we were there for Mardi-Gras parades in Mobile, Daphne and Fairhope. The house was a good getaway from the traffic from parades. Comfortable.
