wake up to Mermaids in the pool? Dogs welcome. Any size. But must be friendly and well behaved.
Mermaid Manor is a 4 bedroom, 3 bath pool home. Heated pool with built in seats is completely enclosed under enormous screened lanai. Lanai has lots of gathering space with loungers, dining tables and a gas grill. We have kayaks, life vests and paddles to explore the beautiful clear springs and watch the manatees. Yard is completely fenced. The docks, pool, lanai and entire house is for you and your family to enjoy privately. Only eco-friendly pest control products are professionally applied. We are trying to provide our guests with a carefree, healthy environment so they can concentrate on rest and relaxation. Our home comes with a fully equipped kitchen. all linens, towels, shampoo and soap, and even beach towels. Just about anything you would normally use in your home. Three flat screen TV's, cable, and high speed internet.
There is on site parking for your boat trailer. The boat launch is less that 1 mile away at Rogers Park which also has a sandy beach.
Our home is on a 100 ft waterfront bulkhead located on a deep canal with direct access to the Weeki Wachee river and only 20 minute idle to the gulf. 7 minute car ride to the Pine Island Beach to watch beautiful sunsets.
There is an abundance of local waterfront restaurants that afford plenty of opportunity to cater to just about every taste. If this property is unavailable during the time you hoped, I have other Weeki Wachee vacation homes that might fit your needs. If you want a beautiful pool and be able to paddle the clear Weeki, this is your choice.

Cute and cozy great location the host Keven was helpful and quick to respond to any questions within minutes. we will definitely return, if you are looking to see manatees this is the place we saw an abundance of manatees at the hospital hole a five minute kayak ride from the house.

Perfect river getaway

The house was perfect for me and my family to enjoy kayaking down the river and to unwind in the pool afterwards. Kevin was super helpful and it was great that we were able to bring our dog too. Definitely will return!

Absolutely Amazing!

The house and location was perfect. We had such an amazing time here. The house was perfect for our stay. The house was very clean, and conveniently located to the weekie wachee springs, as well as many restaurants and stores. There is so much to do in the area. The owner was so helpful, and very approachable. I highly recommend this VRBO if you're looking for an enjoyable, and relaxing vacation on the springs.

Relaxing and enjoyable

We stayed in this property for my 40th Birthday with my family and my son who brought one of his friends (17) we all had a very relaxing time. We also brought our two dogs. The home was clean and plenty of room for 6 of us and dogs. Beds were super confortable and the AC works amazingly on the hot afternoons. The kayaks were wonderful ammenity to have but i highly recommend renting a boat to tour the river. The pool was a the cherry on top at the end of the long days on the river. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need toncook. Would stay there again for sure.

Great time as always

Love this area, been coming here for years. The house is comfortable, the pool is amazing and the kayaks will get you to the crystal clear waters of the Weeki Wachee in 5 minutes. Love watching the manatees and swimming in the river. Great restaurants nearby. Try Cody's steak house. Food amazing and the owners are great!!! As always, we will be back

Another great year!

This is our second year staying at Mermaid Manor and 5th year in Weeki Wachee for 4th of July. By far our favorite house to rent. Our daughter loves the pool & the dock was perfect for our boat. We saw dolphins in the canal this year and of course lots of manatees. The owner went above and beyond with any questions we had & made sure our family was accommodated. Looking forward to next year!

all you need and more

the reasons we give 5 stars are the efficiency and kindness of the owner and the offer in general: pool, air conditioning, hot water, kitchen equipment, TV, wifi, kayaks (some would need repair), all is there and works fine. The area is a bit crowded but you can access a nice beach in less than 10 minutes drive and many quiet state parks. The Clearwater area is not too far and we enjoyed it very much: beaches, activities, parks, etc. Overall, very nice vacations in central Florida!

We have been enjoying this beautiful vacation property for 4 years now. It is a very relaxing place with a house well-stocked with everything you could need. There is plenty of room for everyone in the group to to spread out and have their own space. It is wonderful to be able to kayak right from the back dock. The beds are comfy, pool is beautiful and refreshing, location is perfect. If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind yet an easy travel to more "touristy" locations, then this is the place for you.

Fun for all

The house was very clean and everything was in great shape. The pool was a hit for all 3 generations. We brought our boat and it easy parking with ample walk space. The Kayak launch was very helpful for getting the kids in and out. We would recommend this property to anyone who wants to have a good time, and we will be back. Thanks again

Family vacation

Kevin was a great host and answered questions quickly. This was like going to your grandma's house for vacation. It was small but clean. There were extra beach towels and a few pool noodles to use. The outdoor space was great and is where we spent most of our time. The only thing I found unpleasant is that the 3rd bathroom is actually outside by the pool and not air conditioned. It's great for It's intended purpose of a pool bathroom. It's not so great if you're depending on it for a 3rd bathroom for a guest. We were a family so it wasn't a problem to share the 2nd indoor bathroom, just a minor inconvenience.

Enjoyed our stay

My family stayed for several days while visiting family in the area. The owner was always easy to get in touch with and we had no issues with check-in or check-out. The house is a trailer that has been added on to several times and sits on a large lot directly on the river. It is in need of updating, but has everything you need for your stay. Honesty more than you need, a bit cluttered with so much stuff. The pool and pool area are AMAZING! You will enjoy this space. The dock along the river is great for fishing and launching your kayaks off from, but is also in need of updating. A lot of the wood is rotting and unsteady. Overall, the host, the pool and the location on the river make this place worth it.

Place needs to be pressured washed outside to get rid of mold and bugs..

Granddaughter got cut from a nail sticking out of trim work coming up stairs, dining room chair was already broken and daughter-in-law fell from a barely mended dining room chair, the book in main bathroom didn’t work, it says 3 bathrooms but onlt 2 where accessible ( pool bathroom was locked. To many stairs.

Comfortable house, peaceful and fun kayaking on the canal and river - saw manatees. Wonderful pool

The house had everything we needed; appreciated the extra towels, coffee, soaps, shampoo. Dan was informative and friendly, quick response. Kayaking the Weekie Wachee river was so peaceful and beautiful with manatees swimming along. Was nice to have restaurants with great food within walking distance. A very comfortable house ; we felt at home. The pool was perfect! Friendly neighborhood. Only issue was I had poor cell phone service- (my carrier) which was not a bad problem to get off the grid and truly relax! We attended the shrimp festival- great food and music. Took a trip to tarpon springs Greek town- Fantastic food and wonderful shops with locally harvested sponges. Went fishing every morning! This lifestyle is addictive. Thank you dan and holly for making your home available.

Retired nature lover. First time to visit Weeki Wachee hooked me. I immediately bought a home , and now have three. All my vacation homes cater to completely different lifestyle needs. One home is in the quiet area with access to Mud River by Mary's Fish Camp. Has a boat ramp and very fast access to fishing and scalloping in the gulf. Another home has access to Weeki Wachee with a heated, salt water pool that is screened in. And the third is a super modern living home with beautiful king master suite and two levels that look over the canal with quick access to the Weeki Wachee river.
