Island Shores is a wonderful and budget-friendly vacation rental located in Gulf Shores, Alabama, offering a fantastic view of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo is the perfect choice for those seeking a family-friendly and relaxing atmosphere with easy access to downtown Gulf Shores.

As you enter the unit, you'll be greeted by the calming sight of the Gulf of Mexico, providing an instant stress-relief experience. The kitchen has been fully renovated and is well-stocked, making it easy for you to prepare delicious seafood dishes and meals. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed for maximum comfort and relaxation, and the second bedroom has a comfortable queen bed with an attached bathroom. The dining area can seat up to six guests, or you can choose to dine outdoors on the balcony while enjoying the beautiful waves and watching dolphins play.
Island Shores offers convenient on-site parking for your vehicle, and it's just a short walk away from shopping, restaurants, The Hangout, and Gulf Shores' vibrant nightlife.

Additional Information:
Parking Passes are required and may be purchased upon arrival or by contacting our office directly. You must purchase each parking pass. You can have only 2 parking passes per reservation. 2 cars maximum.
During special holiday time periods (Hangout Fest weekend, Memorial Day weekend, Saturday to Saturday during week of 4th of July, Labor Day weekend, and Shrimp Fest weekend) 3 bedroom units are limited to TWO parking passes, and 2 bedroom units are limited to ONE parking pass.
Linens are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.
The reservation includes a "starter set" of hand soap, 1 roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, 1 trash bag per trash can, and 1 roll of paper towels.
Policies:
Guests must be at least 25 years of age or older to rent.
Photo ID is required at check-in.
Smoking is not allowed.
Pets are not permitted.

Good bargain for a family!

Smaller, older complex which we like. Distance to the beach great! Could use some paint on vents because they were rusty. Overall clean and comfortable! I would stay again!

The property is located within walking distance to shopping and restaurants. We loved to be able to cook breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen. We absolutely loved everything about the condo.

Condo was definitely a little cramped, but essentially had all the space we needed. A little dated, but functional anyways. Loved the distance to the beach, which was not much at all. Size of building was great as it left the beach not so crowded, even during peak season.

Newly renovated....great place

This property was perfect. Had just been renovated and the decor was very up to date. Fell in love with the linens and mattresses. And the location could not be beat. Across the street from a Walmart and another grocery as well as places to eat. A short drive to Gulf Shores and all its amenities. Parking at this location was easy and didn't have to pay extra like some places. View from balcony-gorgeous. Was supposed to be in the middle of spring break but our section of the beach was very family oriented and not crowded. Would definitely stay here again.

Another great VRBO experience

We love staying on the beach. This unit has a nice updated kitchen. Bathrooms need updating! Beds are comfortable. Location is top notch! Our only complaints are that the showers need hand bars, and the neighbors smoked so we couldn't sit on our balcony.

It was great! Great view!!!! Great location! Friendly staff! The AC grates need cleaned. Ceiling in kitchen needs repair. Other than that nooooo complaints!!! The lock on the door was a little complicated but once we figured it out it wasn’t so bad. Maybe include directions on how to use the door lock in the description. We enjoyed our stay and will be back next year!!!!

Bad check in experience. No washer and dryer in condo

Condo was nice and beach was beautiful. No washer and dryer located in condo. They are down stairs and cost $2 to wash and another $2 to dry. I would not rent again from Poole and Associates after my check in experience. I called about an early check in to see if we could check in around 2 and they said no early check in which I understood. I know it's busy this time of year. So we got food and we were at the condo by 3. I had not received our door code yet so I called back and a man answered. I explained to him that we hadn't received our door code and he was very rude to me. He stated that between 3-5 did not mean that I would receive the code right at 3. I told him my booking on VRBO said 3. He told me no it did not. I told him it did because I was looking at it. He said you will get your code between 3-5 and hung up on me. I tried multiple times to call back and could never get anyone back on the phone. I used my husbands phone to call and was finally able to reach someone. This time I spoke to a lady who was very nice to me. She asked where we were staying and the condo number and said our room was already ready and she would send the code right away and as soon as I hung up with her I got a txt with my code.

Water coming in under the door and the lock on the guest bathroom locking people in. Location was perfect! We had absolutely amazing views! The response from Poole when I had questions was timely, helpful and appropriate. Thank you!

Disappointed

You get what you pay for. We had a good time, but the condo/facility were disappointing. Pros: -Short walk to beach -Close to restaurants & attractions -Ample parking Cons: -Facility is old and tired, like an old clean dorm -Washer/Dryer are coin operated on ground floor -Elevator was broken often in our 4 day stay -Water came under entry door during a rain shower -Nit-picky cleaning fines (ex: too many fingerprints?) -Nothing like seasonings, foil, plastic wrap, etc. in the kitchen. Bring everything but pots, pans, plates, utensils. -Beach side bedroom did not cool well and had a strong mildew odor. -Listing/managing company, Poole & Associates did not send the rental agreement for signature until the day we were driving down and threatened the possibility of losing our rental. They claimed they sent it a month earlier but a check of my email history proved otherwise.

A beautiful 2 bed,2 bath condo. With balcony looking out directly to gulf. Fully equipped kitchen. Comfortable living room too. If your looking for a relaxing vacation at the beach with your family this is the place to book and stay and enjoy beach life!

Great unit with a beautiful view of the beach!

The 4 of us were very comfortable in this unit - a beautiful view while relaxing on the balcony. Beautiful white sandy beach right out your back door!
