This place was perfect for hosting our mom's 90th birthday party. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable and Jeff was very helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for visiting uptown Butte. The only thing to be aware of is the noise level typical of a big open hall with wood floors and a high ceiling.
Great place, nothing fancy. Was a perfect place for a bunch of guys partying up town. Perfect location if you’re looking to be in the heart of the bar scene in uptown butte.
Overall very happy with the stay. It was warm with no air conditioning, but there were fans available. Kids loved the ping pong table and karaoke machine!
The property was clean and spacious. We were able to spread out and not feel cramped for the entire 4 days. The home has so much light shining in you forget your in a basement.
We were in town for a basketball tournament, and this place was perfect for entertaining kids in between games. It was close to the MAC and had everything we needed to keep kids busy between games. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the kitchen tools you could need. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. We will definitely be staying here again!
We cooked 2 turkeys and all the sides, slept 10 for 5 nights - it was great! Kitchen was fully loaded, made cooking easy. Lots of space to give everyone room and the ping pong table was well played. I would highly recommend it.
We were in town for a family celebration. We had 6 adults. The space worked perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans and appliances. The central room is spacious and the ping pong table was fun! Bedrooms worked well though we had an adult in the bunk bed room. Bathrooms were functional. Location is perfect. Check in process was easy! The history was a fun extra.

Good stay (though misleading property details)
We had a fun stay at the Butte house.
Pros:
* Very fun large room
* Kid friendly
* Able to accomodate a large group
* Close to various Butte fun
Cons:
* No A/C even though the property description said it was available. Thankfully, it was not too hot in Butte during our stay.
* The door code didn't work when we arrived and we had to talk with Jeff to get a replacement code
Unexpected gem! We were hoping to find something that came in less than two decent hotel rooms, and when we found this, we were a little nervous, but thought we would go for it. We had nothing to worry about! It was comfortable, safe, had plenty of open space for our kids to have fun, the karaoke machine was a big, big hit! Quiet, private bedrooms - enough for everyone. Temperature was perfect, all the amenities we needed. Jeff was very communicative and helpful. We could not have asked for better!
Rocky start. Not the owners fault, the hired man's dog made a mess. this was corrected quickly.
We loved the building, comfortable beds, plenty of entertainment. Very historic.
I dropped an earring in the heat vent. Jeff was quick to retrieve it for me!
We celebrated my daughter’s graduation from Montana Tech last weekend and this place worked perfectly. We brought a ton of food and the serving area made for perfect serving line. We had around 25 people during the afternoon and the large area made mingling and visiting easy. We had 9 people stay over Friday, which required some bathroom rationing in the morning, but no other issues. Beds were super comfy as were the couches. Location made loading stuff in easy as there are only a few stairs to navigate, great for my older parents. Also the location made walking to bars around uptown convenient. I had no idea how big a hit the ping pong table was going to be with the younger crowd, made for some great entertainment. Only con I heard was from the ladies about the lack of a body length mirror who were hoping to have one when get ready in the morning. Communication with Jeff was great and he let us in a little early as soon as it was ready. All in all, this place was excellent and made for a great weekend!

Very cool space, no laundry
We booked this as a stopover between our trip to Glacier NP and Yellowstone to break up the driving and do some laundry. It worked well for that, locationally!
Pros: the space is huge and nicely outfitted. The beds were super comfy. It was very clean. They included white noise machines and other nice details. Guide book was very informative.
Cons: the listing says laundry available and none was available. We tried asking for info and nobody responded to us while there. I’m fairness we were in late and out fairly early (10 am)for the one night. There is a lot of street noise. There’s no A/c which is fine but you don’t want to open the windows bc of the traffic noise. There are fans and the white noise machines help. The ceiling fan in my bedroom would only work with the light on so we couldn’t use it.
Very family friendly!! We loved the openness, my son sang happy birthday to his dad on the karaoke machine! Ping pong was a definite hit! Close walking to so many things to see, do, eat, and drink!

Good space. Could be more detailed with cleaning. Had to rewash pans used. And some surfaces. Could make steps from stage area more noticeable! Great bathrooms. Enjoyed central location. We were confused about washer and dryer availability. Original listing indicated there would be washer and dryer included in space. We enjoyed our stay.
Super unique location! I felt like I was a part of the history. Very cool. Lots of space and very comfortable. Right in the heart of the historic district and uptown. Walk to food beverage and entertainment.
This place was perfect for our family. We were in town for my step sons graduation and we had lots of family coming. It was so nice to be able to have everyone together. The place was big enough that we did not feel crammed together. There was plenty of room. We also loved the location. We were in walking distance of fun shops and an added bonus was the farmers market. The host was awesome and was easy to get a hold of. We will absolutely stay here again.
I love to travel, especially with our family of five...Between them and a couple businesses, I stay pretty busy. Usually found with a smile on my face, a ball of some sort in my hands, and my kids in tow. I am a pretty easy going guy, thanks for looking!
Why they chose this property
Build in 1906, this old Baptist Church has been transformed as an short stay vacation home. It was such a fun project to be a part of! We used almost all original materials to redo the space and now the building that was slowly dying from disrepair, has new life!
