Mixed Review
This condo is very nice and certainly better than a hotel room for space versus the price. Comfortable beds, plenty of linens/towels. Nice private patio, but could use an umbrella or awning to protect from sun and rain.
Nice kitchen, but no dishwasher and no drainboard or rack for hand washing dishes. Also, only two very old dishtowels for drying. Ample dishes and silverware. Good stove and microwave, but the refrigerator needs to be replaced. Fine on the inside and ice maker, but the outside looks very old and worn.
The dining area is nice, but there are only three stools. Where does a 4th person sit for a meal?
It was generally clean; however, if you walk around barefoot, you're feet will reflect it. The carpet next to the couch is stained and dirty. There were cobwebs between the railings on the staircase. The living room area is nice with ample seating.
Nice lighting with the windows and beachy-feel decor throughout.
There is no cable tv - only limited Roku viewing.
The bedrooms are great - plenty of space and closets. The 2nd bedroom could use a mirror.
I can overlook quite a bit in my comments; however, the bathroom was my number one issue. The sink and toilet are fine. The tile floor needs an upgrade. The tub/shower is sorely in need of replacement. The porcelain finish on the tub is completely worn out (grey) and stained. When you turn on the shower, water comes out of both the showerhead and faucet at the same time, so you're standing in ankle deep water throughout and the hot water lasted less than 10 minutes.
I am so sorry that I can't give a 5 star review, because the condo is lovely. With a few upgrades and more attention to detail, this could be that promised 5 star experience!
So, that's why this is a mixed review. If a reader doesn't care about what I mentioned, they will have a great stay because it is a lovely condo!!!
