Directly from Hacienda you can go hiking and enjoy impressive walks, hikes or mountain bike tours through the impressive landscape and the lush vineyards.

Next restaurant with typical Canarian cuisine, bar and café, as well as a small shop selling local products can be reached by car in 5 minutes or a walk in about 15-20 minutes.
The nearest village Puntagorda with supermarkets, bank, petrol station and other restaurants can be reached by car in about 20 minutes.

The nearest bathing beaches at Calle Jonsito, Lomada Grande or Puerto de Puntagorda can be reached in about 30 minutes. The sand beach of Tazacorte in about 45 minutes.

With loving care we produce a first-class red wine with the support of the successful winemaker Don Alberto. Our foundation is the water terraces in the best sunshine and ancient vines. What today sounds so self-evident, our predecessors have built up with great effort and preserved for centuries.
So the terraces cover over 1. 380m.M. to the highest vineyard areas worldwide. Our vines bring low yield with high quality. The ecological management of our estate according to the guidelines of the "Consejo Regulador de Agricultura Ecológica" (CRAE) is a logical consequence. In this way we make a small contribution to the preservation of the agricultural structures on La Palma.
Not only for ourselves, but also as guests, we want to make the extraordinary peace and beauty of our estate accessible. We work with great passion and with the full support of our palmy neighbors and friends. Only in this way will you be able to share this unique place with an experience spectrum of nature, movement, recreation, relaxation, enjoyment and wellness.

In 2014, we bottled 260 bottles with completely hand-picked Listán Prieto grapes exclusively for our guests. Enjoy a relaxing hiking or bathing day relaxing with a glass of our own red wine.

Harvest & Enjoy:
The vineyard blooms and grows practically all year round. While from mid-January to early March, the almond and fruit blossom season impressed, the first fruits begin to mature in April / May. There are apricots, figs, lemons, oranges, peaches, plums, apples, pears, strawberries and of course the sugar-free grapes. You can use our fruit trees until November. From November to December, the chestnut trees (chestnuts) are waiting for you to be harvested.
A private herbal garden provides for year-round tasty ingredients in the kitchen.

We will be happy to provide you with experienced guides who will show you the most beautiful walks on La Palma. Our hikes lead us through the mystical laurel forests, to the sacred dragon trees, through mysterious gorges, to the bizarre crater rim and to the sea. The highlight is the round trip through the impressive world inside the world's largest erosion crater, the Caldera de Taburiente, the home of the last king of the Guanches. Again and again we will encounter the traces of the native inhabitants. La Palma is a very powerful volcanic island that touches our hearts and appeals to all senses. An experience of a special kind.

Einfach nur 'wow'

Wer absolute Ruhe in traumhafter Landschaft sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben zwei wunderbare Wochen auf der Hacienda verbracht: sehr netter Empfang, tolles Ferienhaus - in dem einfach nichts fehlt - und eine prima Augangslage für Wanderungen im nördlichen Teil der Insel. Nachts ein beindruckender Sternenhimmel und tagsüber viel Natur und ein riesiger und sehr schöner Garten in Kombination mit Weinbergen, Mandelbäumen und Esskastanien. Wir sind sicher, dass wir wieder kommen werden, um uns hier so richtig zu erholen. Danke an das ganze Team vor Ort !

Wunderschöne ruhige Lage mitten in den Weinbergen

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne und entspannte Zeit auf der Hacienda. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Unsere Wohnung La Placita ist sehr ruhig gelegen und sehr gut ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

In luftiger Höhe thronend: ein einzigartiger Rückzugsort

Eindrucksvolle und erholsame Tage auf der üppig bewachsenen Vulkaninsel auf 1300 Metern über dem Meeresspiegel. Von mächtigen Kiefern, Obst- und Weinplantagen umgeben, erlebten wir beeindruckende Wolkenformationen, Sonnenuntergänge und sternenklare Nachthimmel. Ein wunderschönes, ganz besonderes Refugium! Wir haben 10 wunderschöne Tage verbracht. La Hacienda liegt nicht nur grandios über dem Wolkenmeer, sondern die Häusschen bieten alles, was man für einen solchen Aufenthalt braucht und alles ist gut durchdacht. Auch wenn es keine Luxusherberge ist, ist alles von sehr guter Qualität! Sehr hilfreich waren auch Christians Empfehlungen- vielen Dank dafür! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Die Lage über den Wolken ist traumhaft. Die Häuser alle gut, modern und hochwertig ausgestattet. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle stehts hilfsbereit und versuchen alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Lediglich die "Straße" zur Unterkunft sollte überarbeitet werden. Wenn wir nochmal nach La Palma kommen, dann wahrscheinlich wieder hier hin.

Ein besonderer Ort

Pure Entspannung und Ruhe dort oben. Die kleinen Häuser sind zwischen Weinreben und Mandelbäumen am Rand eines mächtigen Kiefernwaldes eingebettet. Die Ausstattung der Häuser ist Top. Wer mehr Rummel sucht, der sollte unbedingt woanders umschauen, denn dort oben gibt es nur Stille und ausspannen...und Sterne. Viieele Sterne!

Wunderschöner Bungalow in kanarischem Weingut

Bereits Wochen vor der Anreise wurden wir von unserem Betreuer Christian angeschrieben, die Anreise genau erläutert, es wurde uns auch angeboten, den Kühlschrank zu füllen. Nach der etwas abenteuerlichen Anreise, die aber auch mit einem normalen Auto funktioniert, sind wir von Christian sehr nett empfangen worden, der Bungalow ist wie auf den Bildern beschrieben, das Bett ist wirklich sehr gut, die Ausstattung sehr hochwertig. Weiter steht einem sehr viel Platz um das Haus zur alleinigen Verfügung. Die Außenanlagen sind wunderschön, zur Zeit unseres Urlaubs blühten Mandelbäume, Gänsedisteln, Viele Blumen, Obstbäume. Die Poolanlage is ebenfalls sehr schön, zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt war das Wasser mit ca 21 Grad noch rel frisch trotz Poolheizung, nachts kühlte es stark ab. In der Anlage gibt es Zapfstellen für kostenloses gut schmeckendes Quellwasser. Im Poolbereich gibt es einen Gefrierschrank, der mit selbstgemachtem Brot und Brötchen bestückt ist, die gekauft werden können, sehr gut schmecken.Man kann direkt von der Anlage aus Wanderungen beginnen, wie überall auf La Palma mit großen Höhenunterschieden... Wer Astrofotografie liebt, kann hier tolle Aufnahmen der Milchstraße machen. Bei einer Erkrankung hat mir Christian sehr geholfen. Auch Benjamin, der als Gärtner tätig ist, hat uns gut betreut, viel erklärt. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub, der einzige Nachteil (evt auch Vorteil) ist die Abgeschiedenheit.

Beautiful location up in the hills

Both me and my girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed our stay , set high in the hills away from everything it gave us the peace and tranquility we were looking for! Absolutely lovely place! When we arrived we realised that the hot tub and pool were shared , maybe this could have been mentioned in the listing. Apart from the above we couldn’t recommend this beautiful peaceful place more!

Luftschloss unter Sternenhimmel

Wir suchten für die Weihnachtsferien ein Plätzchen zum Entspannen und Genießen auf der Insel. Wir fanden ein „Luftschloss“, in welchem man sich perfekt erden konnte! Schon die kurvenreiche Anfahrt durch die Kiefernwälder war traumhaft. Oben angekommen schien die Sonne vom blauen Himmel und wir wurden von Christian superfreundlich empfangen. Er führte uns durch einen sehr weitläufigen, wunderschönen und terrassierten Garten mit vielen versteckten Plätzen, herrlichen Agaven und Steinpflanzen zum Pool hinauf. Der war frisch, doch genial zum Schwimmen, vor allem nach dem „ Hot Pot“, der über einige weitere Stufen zu erreichen war und noch ein bisschen näher am Himmel stand. Ein großes mit Bergquellwasser befühltes und Holz beheiztes Weinfass, in welchem man nachts stundenlang die Sternenkuppel, Venus und den Mond bewundern konnte. Dieses Quellwasser konnte man auch aus einem in Stein eingelassenen Wasserhahn als Trinkwasser „zapfen“, somit muss kein Trinkwasser eingekauft werden. An unsrem Haus „La Placita“ angekommen, waren wir vollends im Glück! Christian zeigte uns den Holzofen und die Plätze, an welchen wir Brennholz holen konnten. Im Dezember brauchten wir das nur morgens oder wenn die Nacht länger wurde. Tagsüber heizte die Sonne. Das Haus hatte einen eigenen Zugangsweg und schöne verschiedene Sonnenplätze mit Gartenmöbeln. Innen war es geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gemütlich. Es fehlte uns an nichts! Das separate kleine Badehaus mit der Whirlpoolwanne und dem freien Blick auf die Wälder.... top. Im Haus selber eine geräumige Dusche, wenn’s schneller gehen sollte. Auch der hauseigene Wein zur Begrüßung schmeckte genial. Angenehm war, dass im Haus Badetücher und Bademäntel waren! Wir hatten einen gigantisch entspannenden und genussreichen Urlaub und das Gefühl zwischen Himmel und Erde in einer Hängematte zu schaukeln. Danke! :-)

Natur, Ruhe, Entspannung – und ein ganz bisschen Abenteuer

Wir haben uns spontan zu einem Besuch auf La Palma entschlossen und entsprechend kurzfristig diese Unterkunft gebucht aufgrund der hervorragenden Bilder und Beschreibung hier. Kurz: Die Unterkunft steht dem in nichts nach, wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit hier und die Abgeschiedenheit hoch oben ist wirklich ein schönes Gefühl. Man hört den Wind in den Bäumen und sonst… nichts! Ein Grund für den Besuch hier war auch der tolle Sternenhimmel, den man auf La Palma sehen können soll und von dem wir auch nicht enttäuscht wurden. Abends haben wir in den Liegestühlen liegend bei angenehmen Temperaturen die Sterne betrachten können, die hier in der Tat in beeindruckender Zahl am Himmel stehen. Im Poolhäuschen gibt es die Möglichkeit, sich gegen eine (wirklich minimalste) Gebühr in die Vertrauenskasse aus einem Gefrierschrank mit Brot, Brötchen, Croissants, Eis und aus dem nebenstehenden Kühlschrank mit Getränken zu versorgen, wenn man mal keine Lust hat, ins Tal zu fahren oder eben einfach Lust auf eines der Inhalte hat. Toller & praktischer Service! Oder man bedient sich an den reifen Mandeln, die zu unserer Zeit gerade von den Bäumen fielen. Die Abwicklung war ebenfalls hervorragend – Danke an Christian für die vielen Hinweise und Tipps und die super Vorbereitung für unsere Anreise. Auch der empfohlene Mietwagenverleih war ein super Tipp – freundliche und hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter am Telefon und vor Ort - alles lief reibungslos und machte einen tollen Eindruck. Wir haben uns wirklich willkommen gefühlt und werden bestimmt wiederkommen! Nochmals danke und bis bald!

Traumhaft

Der Juni 2019 war wirklich ein Traum. Begonnen hat alles mit der "abenteuerlichen" Fahrt zur "Hacienda La Palma". Danke an Herrn Freitag für die gute Wegbeschreibung. Aber auch ein herzliches Dankeschön an Christian und Benjamin. Sie haben uns herzlich empfangen und waren immer für uns als Ansprechpartner da. Super Service. Da können sich andere eine große Scheibe von abschneiden! Das knuffige Ferienhaus ist idylisch im Anwesen plaziert und solch eine absolute Ruhe haben wir an noch keinem anderen Ort so erlebt. Die Tage, an denen wir den wunderschön gelegenen Pool genutzt haben, konnten wir diesen alleine für uns genießen. Da der nächstgelegenen Supermarkt ist dann doch gut 20 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt liegt, bietet sich sehr an Einkäufe mit geplanten Touren oder Ausflügen zu verbinden.

Sehr ruhige Lage, schöne Aussicht und gute Wandermöglichkeiten

Das Ferienhaus bietet eine ideale Möglichkeit aller Hektik zu entfliehen. Es liegt am Ende eines sehr schön anlegten Weinguts mit mehreren Ferienhäusern. Als Selbstversorger lässt die hervorragend eingerichtete Küche keine Wünsche übrig. Wenn man nicht selbst kochen möchte ist dies jedoch nicht das passende Domizil - das nächstgelegen Restaurant schließt bereits um 19:00 und zu anderen Restaurants muss man eine längere Fahrt auf kurvigen Bergstraßen in Kauf nehmen. Nach einer langen Wanderung ist die Abkühlung im Pool eine wahre Freude. Nicht nur von hier hat man einen grandiosen Blick auf die Umliegende Landschaft und das Meer. Durch die Lage über den Wolken hat man fast schon eine Sonnengarantie. Besonders hervorzuheben sind Christian und Benjamin, die sich vorbildlich um die Gäste kümmern. Ich verbringe meinen Urlaub nie zweimal an gleicher Stelle - hier könnte ich es mir jedoch durchaus vorstellen.

Sehr schönes Haus mit super Personal und Umgebung . Die Anreise ist abenteuerlich , macht aber Spaß. Der Pool hat eine sehr schöne Aussicht. Die Häuser liegen alle sehr versteckt somit hat jeder viel Privatsphäre.

Traumhaus in Traumlage

Über den Wolken wohnen mit allem Comfort, hier ist es möglich. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts im Haus. Die Stille mitten in der Natur ist ein Hochgenuss. Für die kühlen Abende oder Morgen ist genügend Holz für den schnell heizenden Kaminofen vorhanden. Der Sternenhimmel ist einmalig. Wir haben uns sauwohl gefühlt.

Ruhe und Natur pur

Die Lage dieser Anlage ist wirklich einmalig. Man sollte wissen, was man sucht, bzw., was man will. Wer jeden Abend im Städtchen schlendern möchte, ist hier nicht richtig aufgehoben, denn man fährt immer eine Weile. Die Straßen sind eben eng und kurvig und selbst nach Puntagarda, wo es einige gute Restaurants und Infrastruktur gibt, ist man etwa 20 Min. unterwegs. Doch wer die Ruhe und Erholung sucht und einfach ein Nest für Ausflüge in die nähere und weitere Umgebung sucht, ist hier goldrichtig. Am nachmittag bis in den frühen Abend hinein scheint einem auf der Terrasse die Sonne auf den Balg und die Höhenlage ist sehr angenehm. Die Luft ist einmalig und man hört - NICHTS! Keine Autos, keine nervigen Geräusche, um einen herum sind nur die Vögel und die Bienen. Das Haus hat Außenjalousien, wenn man es also abdunkelt, muss man immer aufpassen, nicht zu lang zu schlafen. Am Abend spendet der Kamin eine wohlige Wärme und das so schnell, das man bald schon wieder die kühle Luft von Außen hereinlässt. Die Ausstattung ist absolut super, das Häuschen ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Ein Hammer sind die ganzen Außenanlagen bzw. der Gesamteindruck des Ensembles auf diesem riesigen Naturgrundstück. Christian hat uns super eingewiesen und ist immer eine große Hilfe. Wir haben uns hier pudelwohl gefühlt.

Wunderschöne Oase der Ruhe

Wir durften eine wunderschöne Woche auf der Hacienda verbringen. Für Leute, die sich nach Ruhe und Natur sehnen, ist dies genau der richtige Ort. Die Finca hat alles was man benötigt und noch mehr. Das Team ist stehts freundlich und zur Stelle. Wir werden bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal dort gewesen sein. Wir haben uns sowohl in die Hacienda sowie auch in die wunderschöne Insel La Palma verliebt!

Garden of Eden

The Hacienda vineyard is a place of utter tranquility. The terra-cotta cabin we stayed in was surrounded by almond blossom, birdsong and lush foliage. At night there was a deep quiet and incredible views of the stars. Christian and Benjamin were most helpful and the cabin had everything we could possibly need including an excellent shower and wood burner for the cool evenings. The terrace looks down the valley and is a sun trap once the sun has climbed over the towering pines on the ridge. It is set away from the other few properties. We had not visited La Palma before and enjoyed walking part of the Camino Real de la Costa, the long walk that circumvents the whole island and in the north weaves round the numerous barrancas. We walked amongst the dragon trees and up near the Gods on the edge of the Caldera. We ate at El Castillo and in Puntagorda but mostly enjoyed making meals for ourselves. We found a lovely circular walk on the app Komoot, through the forest behind the cabin to get to the local restaurant at Bresitas. One day we drove across to the north east to the rainforest at Los Tilos and the salt pools near San Andres, making it back as dusk fell and the first stars appeared. All these outings were made more special knowing that we would be sleeping again side by side with nature. We enjoyed the Hacienda’s wine and almond butter and the herby scents from the garden. The experience of the hot tub was one to remember through the cold nights of the English winter. The clouds cleared and we sat looking up at stars and planets light years away. It put many things in perspective! We go back to the UK rested in mind, a little tired from the walking and feeling blessed to have had the opportunity to stay at Tobias’ beautiful vineyard. We hope we will come back. Thank you!
