We're Tom and Colleen, and we have loved calling Idaho our home for more than forty years. We've traveled a lot in our long lives---all 50 states and about 27 countries. There's no place we love more than Valley County. We think you'll agree and we are delighted to share this slice of serenity with you. We don't offer hot tubs or pool tables, just the chance to enjoy all nature affords from the comforts of a well-appointed, modern home.

If you want a true getaway, this is it. For most of the year, you can sleep to the sound of the stream, spend days picking wildflowers, listen to birdsong, and watch deer, elk and the ever present ground squirrels. Winter is equally magical with easy access to both Tamarack and Brundage Ski resorts, and ample opportunities for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing nearby at Ponderosa Park. We are just 9 minutes from the Activity Barn and 10 to downtown. But even on busy weekends this is a place of peace, quiet and joy. Oh, did we mention all the water fun a stream-side home offers?

Peaceful, quiet, natural 2-acres with stunning views. Watch the sunrise over Jughandle Mountain from the deck. Enjoy the sunsets over West Mountain from the front porch. Private trail leads to 150 ft frontage on Lake Ford Stream. (Older folks may want to use hiking sticks, it is clear but a bit steep for flatlanders.) A trail to the north is reserved for HOA members. Ours is gentler, please use ours. Idaho law guarantees access to waterways, 10 ft from the high-water mark. Bring your fishing rod. Depending on water levels you may also tube the stream. Put in at the bridge on Elo Rd., 3.5 miles to the north and take out right here. Nearest neighbors are several acres away. They are full time residents who cherish this special place. Please visit here only if you are seeking serenity. All the benefits of McCall are a ten-minute drive or less but you won't know you're that close to town. It is that restful. Mid-way between Brundage and Tamarack Resorts (about 30 min.) for exceptional skiing and other four-season fun. Home is well-appointed, with large kitchen and great room, plenty of indoor and outdoor dining space, river rock fireplace, and a good supply of games and puzzles for all ages. There are two Smart TVs that do more than we understand. But unless the weather is bad, get outside. Enjoy!
