We had a wonderful stay!!! The house was incredibly well equipped and comfortable. We were a group of 6 adults and we all loved the house and hope to come back!
It was heaven on earth! The views were beautiful. The house was very comfortable and homey and well stocked regarding kitchen, linens, etc. we loved it and hope to come back during the winter months and hope to stay at this location again!
Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful, thoughtfully stocked, and watching the sunset through the picturesque window was such a treat. We had one rainy day during our visit, and it turned into a relaxing day stay inside. If we visit McCall again, this is definitely where we'd love to stay.
We had a great time in McCall. In the evenings, we saw deer, beaver, eagle, crane and ducks from kitchen table window and back patio. Definitely recommend this house.
beautiful and comfortable house with great river views. Host was very nice and let us check in early and leave late.Has a "secret apt" above garage that I didn't at first realize existed--it was through the garage. Nice and private.
Great property a few spiders here and there inside (which my wife didnt appreciate) House was very clean and well kept. Caretaker was very responsive to any questions.
Beautiful Home! We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful view of Payette river. Enjoyed watching wildlife by river. We saw momma deer n babies also bald eagles! Got some great photos of both!

Thank you for your kind words Elizabeth. Awesome having you as our guest. We love our home and enjoy sharing with people like you!
Mark's property was amazing. There was plenty of room to convene indoors and outdoors. The view is really special and the majority of our time was spent outside. The kitchen was well stocked for meals and there is an abundance of glassware for drinks.
We love McCall, and we loved our stay in your cabin!!! Came up from Utah for fall break, and we loved every minute. From trying out some unique local experiences (like Burgdorf hot springs, lunch in Warren, and enjoying Brown Park), to just relaxing in the cabin and watching a family of otter play in the river while a bald eagle flew by, every experience was wonderful. Thanks for sharing your beautiful cabin! - it was comfortable and well-stocked. A great retreat.
This is a great property in a secluded quiet neighborhood just moments from McCall. We have stayed here twice and love the property. Beautiful view of the river from anywhere in the house and back deck. Rooms all updated nicely, beds are comfortable, AC which is a must when there is the occasional hot day. This is our first choice when coming to McCall.

Hello Matt!
Thank you for staying at our riverfront home. We look forward to hosting you again in the future.

This is a beautiful mountain home. Very accommodating. The check-in was easy. The location was great and the view from the back of the house is outstanding! We were looking forward to using the hot tub but it was broken (seems to be a common theme for many rentals) and that was disappointing. However what was most disappointing was the cleanliness of the property. I don’t think the cleaning company is doing their job for the owners. We needed to wipe down the kitchen table and counters, and appliances before we could use the kitchen. There were also a lot of cobwebs everywhere…
This house is stunning. It’s a large home with a cozy cabin like feel. The views of the Payette from the living room, dining room and downstairs bedroom are astounding. The property manager and owner were quick to respond with answers to my questions. Great place to get away too with lots of trails around and the Activity Barn too!
This home is beautiful and in such a great location. The hot tub was an extra fun treat, the beds were comfortable, and the property was well-maintained. I had two small surprises that I didn't love, the first being that the second bedroom upstairs shared a jack-and-jill bathroom with the master. I have never had a master bath that shared with another bedroom before. The second thing was that there were many security cameras outside. I totally understand the need to keep an eye on the place, but it would be great to have them shut off when someone is there. I tried to do stargazing a couple of times, and the cameras have floodlights attached, so if you move an inch, they light up everything. Neither of those things is the end of the world; they were just surprising, I'm all. Overall, a beautiful, spacious home with room for everyone, and very well-stocked!
We showed up and the home was a wreck with nothing clean and no bedding on beds. Phone number on listing was wrong. Property management phone number in info book was an old property manager. After an hour of research, found the owner. He said he would call back. A cleaning company called and said they couldn’t get someone out until after we would be out. We didn’t even have blankets to sleep there. They offered to bring us blankets from their own home. I had elderly with me and this was so stressful for them. The hot tub was cloudy and smelled, the water in refer dispenser did not work, the front left burner of stove didn’t work, the water pressure was a dribble at best in shower upstairs and in apartment. I have never left a bad review anywhere in my life. This experience was a terrible one and so confusing with so much wrong information. The promised refund not given was my last straw.
The drive from Boise to McCall was breathtaking. The home was beautiful with a great view. It was a wonderful location within a quiet neighborhood. The rooms were nice with all the amenities. When we first arrived, there were cobwebs in the living room. One of the beds on the main floor had a wobbly headboard, looked like maybe a screw fell off that made the headboard unstable. There was some dust in the laundry room. The house seemed clean but appeared as though maybe it was last cleaned right after the last guests left and wasn't checked on before our arrival. Overall, it was a good stay. The location was perfect from town. This was our first time in McCall and the town had a lot to offer. The home had a great layout. There were lots of mosquitos outside and some inside and they were very annoying. This was of no fault to the owners. I think it was just the time of year and the mosquitos seemed abundant wherever we went. The master bedroom had a wonderful king size bed but it was slightly too high for me. I am 5ft 1in and I found it hard to climb in and out of the bed. If you are a short person, you should be aware but you can use one of the other bedrooms if it's an issue. We took a boat cruise on Payette Lake and that was very nice. We also visited Ponderosa State Park and that was a pleasant surprise. We ate at The Den, Lago Chapala, McCall Brewing Company and Fogglifter Cafe. They were alI great choices. We would stay in this home again if we are back in McCall.

Best Vacation Ever
If you're looking for a great vacation, this home will certainly provide the setting. I can't say which is more spectacular, the home itself or the views from the home. Starting with the home, it's very spacious so you'll never feel crowded or cramped. The 3 full bathrooms plus extra powder room make it easy for several people to get ready at the same time. It was very clean and provided everything needed for our stay. The kitchen is very well equipped and provided everything we needed. It was nice to find the staples on hand - plastic wrap, foil, basic spices, olive oil - this hasn't been our experience at some homes we've rented. The bedrooms are large and wonderfully furnished. The mudroom attached to the garage is the perfect staging area for gearing up or drying ski gear over night.
The views from the home are just breath-taking. We were always drawn to the large picture windows overlooking the river, hoping to see deer at the river again or the bald eagle on its way to or from its nest. On our first full day at the home our 18 year old son was sitting on the bench staring out the window. My husband asked, "what are you doing?" He replied, "taking in the view." It's spectacular.
The home is located just minutes outside of McCall and a short drive to Brundage. An unexpected bonus was its location to the Activity Barn, a great place for tubing & family fun. There's a market and large RiteAid minutes from the home should you need anything.
Mark, the owner, was fantastic to work with. He responded very quickly with any questions we had prior to booking and prior to our arrival. The care-taker of the home was also great to work with. You won't go wrong staying at this home during your vacation to McCall. We are looking forward to staying here again in the future.
The house had the best view and we really enjoyed the location.

Why they chose this property
This is the most beautiful area in McCall and we enjoy the peace and quiet of the river. Nothing compares to this property in terms of home quality, views, the peace and quiet found here, free from boat noise of the lake. Watching the eagles soar above the river, our resident blue Herron rest, and dear cross the river, all make for the perfect setting for coffee each morning.
What makes this property unique
Each room is facing the Payette river. We enjoy sitting on the patio with a glass of wine watching the wildlife roam freely among the large Ponderosa pines.
