About this property

334 Nordic Lane | Spacious Mountain Home Tucked in Old Growth Pine

This is the perfect home for your vacation any time of the year! Within minutes from Big Sky Town Center and in Lone Mountain Ranch cross-country trail system, this charming 5-bedroom home features an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area. Tucked away in old-growth pine, this extremely well-maintained home offers a large porch, hot tub, and plenty of room to entertain in the large lower level, complete with a wine cellar. The apartment above the garage is perfect for an additional couple or for bringing along your nanny.

In the winter, you are a short drive from Big Sky Resort, the proud home of America's biggest skiing. If downhill isn't your style, you also have access to a large network of cross-country ski trails right outside your front door. If you are looking for an adventurous evening activity, check out Montana Yurt Dinner. You will embark up the Lone Peak in a snowcat (we recommend sitting on the top so you can take in the stars and mountain views) to a magical yurt tucked away in the mountains. You will enjoy an amazing dinner, sled, and have hot cocoa and dessert!

In the summer, Big Sky Town Center is just a 5-minute drive away. Once in Town Center, take a stroll where you can grab a cup of coffee, visit local retail shops, and enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurant patios. In the evening, visit the weekly farmer's market or enjoy live music provided by the "Music in the Mountains" concert series. Only a few minutes by car in the other direction, you can visit Big Sky Resort for a number of fun summer activities including zip-lining and a high ropes course.

Transportation to Big Sky from Bozeman Airport
In order to experience all that Big Sky has to offer, it is helpful to have access to a vehicle during your stay. This allows you to travel seamlessly throughout the community from the Gallatin River to Lone Peak. While ride-sharing and taxi services are abundant in other communities, Big Sky remains a small town with limited options for transportation. We offer a 5% discount code to Explore Rentals for confirmed guests. They are located minutes away from the Bozeman Airport and provide 4-wheel drive vehicles with dedicated snow tires in the winter and all-season tires in the summer!

Close to a 5
Layout, cleanliness, location, amenities were all excellent. We absolutely loved the home aside from one big thing. The home had an insanely loud noise that went on through the night. It sounded like someone smacking a hockey stick on the wood beams all night long. The first two nights, not a single adult was able to sleep. I notified the management company, and they told us to download a white noise machine. I’m pretty sure something in the heating system (the top vents on the roof) was broken and hitting against something. This wasn’t a normal “house noise”. It echoed through the house all night long and really destroyed everyone’s sleep. I was mainly disappointed that the management company wouldn’t offer to come out and see what we were taking about to repair. Before booking, I would advise checking to make sure the noise was found and fixed. If so, this home is an absolute dream and well worth booking!!
