Absaroka Lodge is located approximately 15 minutes from the Bozeman International Airport in the town of Belgrade, a quick 30 minutes to the city of Bozeman. The ranch is situated one mile up a private dirt road and sits alone on 160 scenic acres. The ranch is situated with unbeatable views of the Bridger Mountains, Gallatin Mountains, Madison Mountains, The Tobacco Root Range, The Highlands, and The Elkhorn Mountains right on the edge of a nature preserve so you'll be sure to see plenty of wildlife! A quick drive will get you to the nearest grocery stores in the town of Belgrade, or pop over to Bozeman, a fun and vibrant college town for tons of world class dining and entertainment options. The ranch is nearby Buffalo Jump State Park, Missouri Headwaters State Park, and Lewis and Clark State Park for some excellent hiking and history or if you're a skier, top notch downhill terrain can be found 40min away at Bridger Bowl, 1h away at Big Sky- America's Biggest Ski Resort, or you can check out incredible Nordic and Cross Country trails at the Nordic Team Olympic Training Center at Cross Cut. Bozeman is home to the Museum of the Rockies with its fantastic dinosaur fossil collections as well as the Montana Grizzly Encounter. From the ranch you can be in Yellowstone National Park with its explosive geysers in approximately 1h 45min or if you're looking for some volcanic action closer to town, Bozeman is home to The Bozeman Hot Springs featuring 12 pools ranging from 50 degrees to 110 degrees.
