This is our second time staying here as a family. It is the perfect space inside and out for our large family to have room to spend time together. We really enjoy the large dining space with plenty of room to actually be able to have everyone sit down to eat together! The kids love having open space outside to play,
My group had a fantastic stay. There was some weather related issues with road accessibility on the way in but Bj was so responsive and helpful. The location and amenities are top notch. This is everything we could hope for with plenty of space and ample bedrooms.
This place is so nice & communicating with the owner is great too. Suggestions would be to have a roof on outside deck so you can be outside when weather is not the best. A game room would be great. Fixing the hot tub would be wonderful. Location is so nice & quiet. Firepit is nice big size. Home is beautiful inside.
The property and house were fantastic. Our family enjoyed 3 days of fun just being at the house, the kids loved fishing in the little pond and ending the day sitting by the fire. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The owners were very easy to connect and got backed to me right away.
A beautiful, well-stocked, clean and spacious house. BJ was very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and may plan future family gatherings at this space because it exceeded our expectations. There’s plenty of room inside the home to hang out and outdoors to explore!
Stayed at the property for a couple of days for a wedding. Home was as shown with plenty of room for our large group. Property is very large with easy to walk paths that will take you past several ponds and fields. Backyard is a good place for stargazing/photography.World's End State Park is nearby with great hiking opportunities or even just to sit at the picnic tables.Would definitely recommend planning supplies needed, traveling to pick up groceries etc will cost you time. Basic needs are available locally.
House was well setup and very nice. There’s a lot of space in and out of the house itself. Owner was responsive if you have any questions. There were also a lot of TVs available if a large group of people were to branch out to separate groups to listen to music, play games, watch sports, etc. Also there was a nice trail to walk down while also being close to the State Park.
Home inside & outside is beautiful. Location is quiet but does have a crazy road to get there.Owner is amazing to deal with so professional and kind.Home is great size for a large group.Hope the gas firepit on the deck gets fixed along with the hot tub.Suggestion the room above the garage with a deck off of it would be a great game room with darts, shuffleboard, air hockey and pool table. Just an idea..
This house was perfect for our friends family weekend. We were 3 college friends getting back together with our families. There was plenty of space for everyone and the property itself is fantastic for being outside. Unfortunately it rained our entire weekend but the spaces inside allowed kids and adults to have separation and play games and socialize. BJ was exceptionally responsive to all my questions and provided options and feedback for anything requested. Overall I recommend for any families or groups looking for a secluded property near loyalsock.
We literally didn’t need to bring anything (but we did). So much space and the owners was in touch without being intrusive. Planning to come back in the spring.
My family stayed here as we went to the bow festival in Forksville. The property was perfect. Clean, spacious and quiet. BJ was super helpful and responsive.
Upon arrival, we were all impressed with the design and comfort of this house. The setting is quiet and beautiful, and the house itself is stunning. We enjoyed the small touches, like having good binoculars sitting on the window sill, which looked out on the rolling green lawn and field. The pond was pretty special.
The open floor plan is pleasing, with a well-stocked kitchen (with a drawer full of various teas!), and plenty of seating.
Everything works.
Beds are comfortable.
We were jealous of the laundry room - wish I had one like that!
We enjoyed World's End State Park very much, and also loved relaxing in and out of the house.
A great spot for a family gathering.
This property is a beautiful place to spend a weekend away! The house is spacious and clean, scenery is awesome and the host is super friendly and very responsive. Check-in and checkout process was simple and smooth. We enjoyed our stay very much and I would definitely recommend this hidden gem!
