The large “3 Lacs” recreation centre is just a 10-minute drive from the cottage, featuring 4 swimming pools, water slides, a spa, and a lake for fishing and swimming… there’s no shortage of things to do! The famous Episcopal City of Albi and its UNESCO-listed cathedral are a 45-minute drive away, as is the hilltop town of Cordes-sur-Ciel. You’re ideally located to visit Gaillac and its bastides, and enjoy the summer aperitif concerts. A shop selling local produce is also just 5 minutes from the cottage. ** THE COTTAGE ** Located below the owners’ house, you’ll enjoy a private space with a large garden and plenty of children’s games in a cottage that sleeps 4 people (up to 6 with the loft beds). - Living area: open-concept kitchen equipped with an oven, microwave, filter coffee maker, and Tassimo® pod coffee maker, as well as a top-mounted refrigerator. Living and dining area with a TV and a wood pellet stove. Off the living room: - Bathroom with walk-in shower, sink, toilet, and washing machine. - A ground-floor bedroom with a 140x190cm double bed. - Access to the mezzanine level via a spiral staircase. The bedroom opens onto the living room and features a 140x190cm double bed and a 90x190cm single bed. A second bed (90x190 cm), providing a sixth sleeping spot, is located in an attic-style space that also opens onto the living room. Outdoors: Several dining and relaxation areas in a large, unfenced garden. Stone barbecue in the garden, a trampoline for the kids, and a swing set with a small slide. The chicken coop is located to the right of the cottage—the chickens will be delighted to be fed! Access to the cottage is via the path that passes in front of the owners’ house, located behind the cottage. You can park in front of the cottage.
