Kathy and her husband were so welcoming and helpful to our group of seven. We enjoyed relaxing family time in a beautiful setting! It is well stocked with toiletries, dishwasher and washing machine soaps, toilette tissue, paper towels and coffee filters. The golf cart really came in handy in transporting older family members down to the fishing area and fire pit. The eagle’s nest was a nice bonus! We would definitely go again.

This is a great property for exploring outdoors and watching wildlife. We saw turkey, deer, otters and more. Spent days and even nights at the creek. The outdoor sitting area down by the creek was perfect for cooking hamburgers and roasting marshmallows. Was a little disappointed there wasn't more walkable access to the river for fishing but that's no fault of the owners. House was clean and beds were comfy. Would recommend if you enjoy the outdoors or just want to get away from everything.

The property was beautiful and quiet! We saw turkeys, an eagle's nest and beavers! The golf cart was great for getting the older folks down to the water. Great place to spend the weekend for my father's 82nd birthday!

The house and property were great. Perfect for my husband, myself and our four kids. If you plan to fish and/or swim from the property, the golf cart is a must! Thankful for that option for sure. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful and even gave us a tour of the new tree house being built on the property! We will definitely be back!

Fantastic property to get away, enjoy nature and forget the world! However, close enough to enjoy the wonderful entertainment of Mountainview and go to store or restaurant if you choose.

Breathtaking views. Nice easy river to paddle. An eagle and nest on the property. We got access to canoe and kayak, a golf cart to get around, and an awesome outdoor stone table and grill area right next to the water. Our hosts were the best we've had! Comfortable beds, board games, fully stocked, super nice soaking tub, and tons of pillows and blankets. Grands even enjoyed the arcade in our house. The scenic portion is beyond measure. Time slowed down, we watched deer, foxes, eagles, and all kinds of natural beauties to behold. I got teary eyed leaving. It felt so comfortable, so restful, and so special. We hardly saw anyone out there except the hosts providing us with a special dessert to enjoy. It felt like our own piece of heaven on earth.

The house was absolutely beautiful. We loved sitting on the porch to watch the wildlife and overall Beauty. All the stay were super sweet and helpful. We will definitely be back.

We loved our stay. Perfect for a family stay. We saw the eagles nest and and eagle while there. We saw the deer and hummingbirds. The property golf cart was very useful to explore the huge 470 acres. We loved the White River and Rocky Bayou and the cayak, canoe and flatboat. It's a long drive on the gravel/dirt road to get there but well worth it.

Beautiful setting

The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The family dogs were welcome. We used the golf cart quite a bit to get around and explore the property. Could not have asked for a better experience.

Great stay in nature!

Our group had an amazing time at this picturesque property! The hosts are very responsive and really went the extra mile to make our stay feel special. The home is well stocked for guests with comfortable beds and plenty of space to gather. The property is so beautiful and has many bonus amenities. Being able to swim and fish in the river was perfect for hot days. I am looking forward to our next visit. Would definitely recommend this property!

Family and Friends getaway

We were looking for a place that could handle 8-10 adults for a guys getaway. Everyone enjoyed staying at the place and having time to connect and relax. We spent a lot of time at the fire pit and had an overall great time. Such a beautiful place.

Relaxing Labor Day Get Away

This was our second time staying at the property. We love the home, owners, and peace and quiet of the area. Such a beautiful property. Close enough to Mt. View and Batesville if a quick trip to town is required.

Relaxing Get-Away

Great get away for three families. Lots of outdoor space to find your peace. Beautiful remote location that provides so many opportunities to make memories. The owner has some great vision on what has been accomplished and what is to come. The hosts were great from booking to check out. Always there to answer any questions and ensure a great time at the property.

Beautiful Peaceful Adventures

Our welcome by Doc & Kathy was warm and friendly. The home is nestled into beautiful properties with rivers, cows and the quietness we were craving. The house is beautifully decorated and the beds were just what we needed after a long drive. We definitely put this home at the top of our list to return
