Out of town funeral for a extended family member

Usually there’s room at my “brother’s inn/house” but he was over run with grieving family members so I had to find a place to stay for my family. Found Mike’s wonderful listing and had two wonderful nights of sleep in a king size bed and room to chill between days of wakes, funerals and family reunions. Tried playing many of the instruments that Mike has, my husband loved the guitar and I attempted the Wurlitzer organ. Great location and accommodations. Mike was wonderful on response time and would book with him again!

Fantastic value

We rent homes in one of two categories: Indulgence or Value. Indulgence we expect to pay north of $300 a night with the expectation of added amenities such as a pool, game room, luxury rooms, gorgeous view or exceptional location. The Jackson House is a value rental where our goal is to keep costs under $150 a night and the focus is on clean beds, bathrooms and decent kitchen. This house is all the above, plus it is in a quiet neighborhood, excellent TV amenities, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. It is an older house, but well kept and very clean. We were extremely comfortable, relaxed, and slept well. The AC worked great and I was able to do a couple loads of laundry in the Hotpoint W/D. If we are looking for a value stay next time we are in the area, I will definitely see if this home is available.
