This is our 4th time to stay here, it is right in between Vail Village and Lionshead. Short walk to either place and to multitudes of restaurants and shops.
The location of the condo was fantastic We walked to the restaurants, the village, bus stop and coffee store far more often than we barely drove. I love that the condo has 2 bathrooms. Every room was clean. The beds were very comfortable. It’s a perfect cute condo for a ski vacation.
The condo was comvenient to both Vail Village and Lionshead. We did carch the free bus when we were headjng to the slopes for the day. We walked to Vail village a few times and that was a nice walk in street shoes. We wiuld definately stay again.
Perfect location between Lionshead and Vale Village. We enjoyed resting here after full days of skiing. It had everything we needed. We hope to rebook next year!
We really enjoyed our time here. The location is terrific. It is easy to get to Vail Village or to Lionshead. We walked to Gondola 1 a few times and also took the bus. Very easy. The space was perfect for our family. The kitchen was stocked and the beds were comfortable. I'd love to come back some day.
Awesome location. Short walk to vail village and lionshead as well. My father is 80 so we took the bus some mornings. Busses run every 8 minutes and bus stop is very close to condo.
Well-equipped, comfortable and cozy condo. Parking was steps away. Short walk to lifts and nightlife. Loved cooking in the well-appointed kitchen. Place is thoughtfully maintained with grill, crock pot, lovely patio. We’d happily book this unit again.
You cannot beat the location. It is in the middle of Vail and Lionshead. Very quiet area with no machinery beeping in the early morning. Quick walk to restaurants , shops, liquor store and small market for necessities. This is our second year to rent this location and will do so again next year.

Perfect setting perfect location
Walk or take Vail bus to gondola, really nice and comfortable. Plan on being there again next year. Very pleasantly surprised and pleased
The property is smack dab in the middle of the 2 main villages of vail mountain. The unit had all the essentials needed for a week long stay and we are really appreciative of everything Jenn provided us
This was the perfect size location for our family of four to enjoy our holiday ski trip! The family room was a cozy place to gather to play games or watch tv, and the kitchen was well appointed with everything you need. Washer and dryer was a huge plus. We walked to the slopes and restaurants everyday, but it is also very close to the bus stop if you want to venture further around Vail. Jenn provided very clear communication so check in and check out was very easy. Really enjoyed the stay!
Cozy Bavarian condo in a great location halfway between Lionshead and Vail Village. Was just as advertised. Easy to get to from I-70. Parking right outside door. Free bus is steps away but can walk to everything. Quaint décor. Perfect place to relax after a day on the slopes. Has everything you need including boot dryers! Definitely want to return in the future!
My family and I have been visiting Vail for more than 20 years now, and this is one of our favorite properties. The location is absolutely fantastic. It is almost impossible to find a location in Vail in which you can literally park outside your front door. If you don't want to walk, the intown free bus picks up just steps away. But the bus is not needed, as walking anywhere in Vail is very easy from here. Jen was a fabulous property manager, and this condo was the most well-stocked property I can recall. We hope to return for a future stay!

Great Location near Vail Village
My husband and I stayed in this two bedroom condo for a little over a month in Jan/Feb 2018. It had everything we needed! It is located right next to the 4 Seasons so it is a short walk to Vail Village or if you want to go to Lionshead the in town bus stop is very convenient (or it’s an easy 5 to 10 min walk) . The condo was clean and well maintained, the two bedrooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and all the appliances were in good working order. We had friends & family come up during the month and there were plenty of towels, sheets and hot water to go around! Jenn is great to work with and very responsive, we would definitely stay there again!!

Great Cozy Vail Condo
The condo was great for our family of 5. Checking was as breeze. Condo was clean and comes with a lot of history. Located right next to the vail pedestrian area it was a short walk (10min) to the main gondola area. We did this everyday in boots/kids. Some small issues might need a refresh but all things there for a comfortable stay. Beds were great, kitchen was well stocked, great coffee machines and all things to prep meals. Jennifer was amazing and very helpful and a text away. Overall great time and stay in a perfect location.
The apartment has an old decoration, which I don't like so much. It is very well located, however it is a little far to transport ski equipment by walking every day; you can take the bus from Vail or Lionshead, or leave them at the rental store at the end of each day, which we did. If you don't have to carry gear, both Vail Village and Lionshead are within walking distance. If you prefer not to walk, the bus stop is super close and will take you wherever you want in just a few minutes. Jennifer is an excellent host and she is always ready to help and answer all questions. In general terms, it is a very comfortable apartment and it also has the advantage that it has a parking space, so you can park a few steps from the unit. IWe would surely return!
Magical stay - best location and cozy/happy surroundings in the home
This home couldn't be more well-situated to make your time in Vail fun and efficient. The home itself has so many beautiful Bavarian touches while still having everything you could want. We were warm with an inviting fireplace; there was a high tech washer/dryer; there were more supplies than you could ever need for no extra charge. Jenn thinks of everything.
In addition, she was in touch while we were there to provide any advice and more supplies if needed.
Situated perfectly between the two villages, we walked to both daily/nightly and enjoyed the best of all. We carried our skis/snowboards to both and had no troubles even with the decreased transportation due to Covid. We were so grateful for the parking spot.
This property was truly a top notch place to be with family for time away after a very tough year. We will always appreciate it!

About the host
Hosted by Jennifer Metz
Ours is a skiing family with a long history of skiing in Colorado resorts. In 1969 we purchased this condominium so the whole family could be together skiing, vacationing and enjoying holidays. We're passionate about Vail resort, the town and the people. We have maintained our family condominium with this same passion, keeping our family's Bavarian roots alive with the decor. We love sharing my mountain home with interesting people from all over the world.. Welcome!
Why they chose this property
The setting is uniquely close yet quiet. Easy access to all that Vail has to offer, without being in the center of all the business! Ground floor setting means no climbing floors of stairs with groceries or ski gear. Short walk to bus and you can choose any of Vail's bases to ski to and from. Well built and quiet, this feels more like home!
