Great porch on second floor and the highlight of the property. Pier and dock were very nice. Beach was very unique feature for the Rappahannock River. A tidal marsh next door was a very quiet neighbor. Very quiet and safe area. We are planning to return in 2027 for a loner stay.
Our 3 generation family of 5 (plus our dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this river retreat! We enjoyed the hot tub, kayaks/paddleboard, and beach, and the views were wonderful from the house and the dock. The quiet location was exactly what we were looking for and we will definitely look to stay here again (and possibly rent the house next door) for a larger family retreat.
We left our wedding and came to this amazing waterfront retreat. This beautiful property was beyond our imagination. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants an extraordinary vacation experience!
Worst property ever stayed at. We had to clean it ourselves when we got there and vaccum didn't even work. So many things were broken and dirty. Moldy outdoor furniture, water leak, space heaters for downstairs. Host was Disrespectful and childish, and tried to say that place was stellar for the price but wasn't even close! The view and water was onky thing appealing. House is really small and cramped. I explained im reporting him to vrbo since he said he didn'twant anymore contact because i was whining about the conditionof property, his response was, "im looking forward to them not caring". Didn't even stay entire time because of everything that happened.
Overall we had a great stay. Hot tub and dock were nice. The owners have updated the listing to reflect some changes that we weren’t aware of but the upgraded flat top grill was nice and clean. We loved the beach for our grandchildren and the yard was beautiful. We loved the views and watching the boaters.
